Come on boys and girls.

The football might be crap (most of the time).
He might be tactically inept.
SQuinn may well be his love child.
He always apportions blame to anyone but himself.
He makes up excuses that are blatantly dire.
He is ugly.
He left us for Leeds.
He comes across as a bully.
He has anal sex sex with Hendo*

But despite all of that, he won't take us down. Let him stay here till the end of the season then no matter what sack him.
Dont give him any more funds to fritter away either, and then bank balance should look healthy at the end of the season.

My only concern would be the fans leaving the Lane.

Let's get behind Blackwell before we sack him in the summer :)

I'm here all day till 2.... not very busy so I am happy to argue any points with anyone.

*My opinion

Ooooh wait till BB see's this
By the way i agree

:D I agree with everything yer say.................

except the two hat wud be booted out of BDTBL faster than a gypsies dog if i had owt to do with it.

Is he really havin anal sex wi Hendo..... if yer say so Robbie i'll believe yer.

How do yer know?

Video evidence ;) I was the producer

When Kevin met Darius

It's obviously helping Darius' game as he's been one of our best players this season.
Maybe you should drop him a line and suggest he tries it out on the rest of them.

Dont get jealous now just coz she's not opnin doesn't mean yu got to swap sides:D

My biggest fear is that McCabe will give him a decent amount to spend in January and we will end up with Leigh Bromby back from Leeds, obviously Cresswell, Andy Gray and John-Joe O'Toole..............or the like.

Sorry - did you say something?

Torrix, thank you for bringing her into our life.

This is just plain silly. Any Tom, Dick or Harry could keep us up. What is the point of keeping that plank until the end of the season? We are not going to go up and should be looking for someone else straight away.

BLACKWELL OUT!

You bunch of dirty bastards!

I post a picture of my lovely wife in my avatar and you lot start drooling.

And for the record she was being punched in the face because my tea weren't ont table.

Yes, we are a bunch of dirty bastards. Yes, she'd get it, and probably does. And if that's your missus then Keenzy isn't a drooling perv.

Because of the amount it will cost in compensation. Let him do out the remainder of the season whilst scouting for a new manager right for us.

Does she do an hourly rate?

I guess you might have a point here. But what about if you take into factor the other impacts:

- Season tickets sales/general attendence. With a another 2/3 of a season of Blackwell serving up absolute tripe then it could have a big impact on attendence (ofr the rest of this season) and season tickets for next.
- Players going. Killa is gone, but do we have the potential to lose more. I fear that Harper will not sign for us permanently is one.
- In keeping Blackwell we face a season of dire mediocrity (or worse). There is little or no chance of making the plays offs and it is going to be boring as sin. We still have a very good squad and a first team that is capable of beating any one in the league. (As long as we don't rush it and get the right person) then we could still have a chance of making the play offs.

I can understand the argument of keeping him on (although I don't agree with it). But, for the reasons listed above, I think it could be more detrimental to the club. Of course you could counter with the fact that it might be pragmatic to keep him to the end of the season. If we don't give him money and he continues to underachieve (hence becoming more and more unpopular) then he is likely to walk (before or at the end of the season). McCabe is a shrewd business man and will probably be thinking along these lines. However it is really getting to me wjhat that pillock is doing to our beloved club. The garbage his teams churn out week in week out. The way he can't get the best out of a bunch of players and doesn't know which are his best players. I could go on (you listed a bunch of e-mails in your first post Robbie), hence i'm sticking with it: BLACKWELL OUT!

p.s. Isn't he cheap as chips? How much would we actually have to pay him out??

Or alternatively, keep him until the end of the season and let him turn things around. Then renew his contract.

See...... you're seeing both sides of the equation now.

Don't get me wrong, Blackwells 'football' is awful to watch, in fact sometimes it is unbearable. I can think of many reasons as to why we should look elsewhere and can only think of one reason to keep him.

You make a good observation that if he isn't given what he requires he might walk from the job. Well agree a leaving fee with McCabe.

I can't see him being on a great deal of money - however I reckon he will be on around £400k x 2.5 years is a £1 million pay off. I suppose keeping him till the end of the season would only save 200k.... hmmm. (I'm just thinking to myself now.)

Possible loss of 4k season ticket holders through awful football, say 3.5k are paying for their ticket on an average of £300 a ticket - £1,050,000..... hmmmm

Actually LETS SACK HIM.

You've made me think now Ollesendero so thanks.
I had thought about a loss in season ticket revenue, but not thought about the figures.
There's also match day tickets that will be down on this season.

Adding it all up, and I think I am going to get my shoes off in anticipation

Always fancied being a pimp, I'll ask her if she's up for it by the hour and let you all know..
