The pashun that was released when Basham's shot hit the net, together with Billy's build up play make it hard to argue against that as the moment of the match. For me though the play building up to Basham's chance at the end of the first half was too quality.

McGoldrick's jink inside, his vision to spot Basham and the ball to find him were poetry in motion. The only thing lacking was the finish but the initial run to get beyond the defence was brilliant.

Still not as good as Bash's goal. I've rewatched it hundreds of times already.

Cant remember a feeling like that when Bash scored given the occasion and opposition - (Duffys goal last year apart)

Living In. a quiet urbanisation in Spain the whoop when we scored and me shouting yes Bash you beauty must have sounded strange on reflection.
I agree with the op though. As we had weathered the Leeds kitchen sink throwing of the first 35 minutes we were slowly asserting ourselves and the Basham chance showed we were starting our response following Wilders plan to soak it up then get a grip.

I was very confident that we would nick it 2nd half after going in level.

Just fancied us to turn it up a bit and that we had a few levels to go up, whereas I think they had just about burnt themselves out like a pathetic limp firework.

Even put money on a 1 nil away win at half time and won some bunce, and I'm usually pessimistic with Utd.

Who remembers Tony Philliskirk scoring a goal a little bit similar against them?
