According to a whole host of journos on this poll.

Many suggest Boro for the play offs with Naaarch and Dirties grabbing the top two.

We're fucked :o

Did Danny do this or did he subcontract it to Rogbiv?

Only Danny04 has us with a chance and I think he has done it out of a sense of duty.
Everyone else thinks we're NGE

Fuck em

For many months the so-called experts were saying that West Brom would be in the top two. After the QPR game, we all thought that Leeds were wobbling and it would be us and Norwich. Then Leeds beat West Brom easily and we drew at Wednesday and now we're understandably third favourites.

Leeds have a tough game tomorrow and we have two very winnable home games. I think we may well be ahead of Leeds come Tuesday 10.00pm.

What do they know? They don't watch us every week & see what we are capable of & what we are all about . Let them all write us off the tossers , & watch them squirm when we do go up.

Best way to do it...under the radar and written off, way more satisfying when you stick up two fingers to the doubters after! Extra motivation too. :)
In 1990, May 5th, as United up, Wednesday down, sunk in, United csptain Paul Stancliffe said on ITV, 'To all who doubted us, up yours, we've done it, we're going up.'

Somebody is going to have to talk me through why having Pulis makes you favourites for the play offs. Didn't score in the play offs last year, probably a worse team this year. Manager has fallen even further behind with his tactics.

Journalists can be boring sometimes

I still think we can get top two.

However if it goes to the play offs I think the Journos may be right and Boro gave the tools to shithouse their way through.

I worked for many years as a "Music Journalist" and even we had a good laugh at "Local Sports Journalists"

Most know fuck all about teams outside their immediate sphere yet are expected to give insightful comment on teams they neither care about and may only have seen for 90 minutes months ago.

At least as a Music Journalists I had drugs to cloud my judgement rather than a 5 minute reel on Youtube.

I know some fans crave recognition, and I can get annoyed when pundits talk bollocks about us with old stereotypes, but tbh I'm more than happy being written off and a little under the radar considering our position.

FWIW if I was a neutral I would probably plump for Norwich and Leeds, and then the rest can be a lottery sometimes.

I just hope we don't finish 3rd missing out by a knats, and then don't see it through. I think that would be harsh on this group.

Not to mention our maintained worst play off record and I think probably the team to finish 3rd most in this league and not get promoted.

Irrespective of what the journalists think about United's prospects, I'm really not sure what basis there is for anybody feeling that Leeds are one of the 2 most likely to secure automatic.

After a flying start to the season, they have become a very inconsistent side with 5 defeats in their last 11 league games. In the run-in, they have to play United and newly- hard to beat Pigs whilst away from home they have Bristol City, Birmingham, Preston and Brentford who are stuffing everybody at home (but thankfully getting rolled away from home). Not a comfortable looking fixture list for a side that has been losing as many as it has been winning.

Clearly, the simpletons who were interviewed have been swayed completely by a big win against a WBA side who didn't turn up and frankly were a disgrace to their club, and that huge 2 point advantage that Leeds are sitting on.

Looking at the state of Huddersfield and Fulham do we want to go up? £100million spent, losing every week, 6 managers between them compared to great , unique football winning each week in the Championship beating all in front of us. As long as we keep this style and avoid the hoof ball I'm appeh

And if we don’t go up, Wilder leaves for a club with Paracumoney we sell Fleck and accept an offer from Wilders new club for Norwood?

I don’t particularly like Premier League football and would rather watch the Championship on TV but you don’t turn that money down.

(We wouldn’t spend £100m either so don’t worry about that ;) )
