I thought tonight's performance in terms of commitment, desire & determination to win was fantastic & showed we don't have to be right on it to win, against a very strong side, & no-one showed that more than Flecky. I thought he was magnificent & back to his best, & has been getting steadily better over the last few days, his drive is so important to us & he was everywhere tonight, when he plays like that there are few if anyone better at what he does.

It seemed to me like his role was altered slightly today. He seemed to be sat right next to Norwood & didn't really venture forward. Provided a screen in the middle of the pitch & helped to stifle Rodriguez & Gayle.

I love the hard little bastard. When he has the bit between his teeth like the last 10 minutes tonight, smashing through opponents twice his size and stopping at nothing to get us the result, it is highly arousing, very much so, very much so.

Said it a few times now, but if he can get towards his form of this time last year then what a monumental boost that would be. He's showing signs of getting there.
