Deserves his own thread.
He’s learning what we need from the role now and getting better every week.

I love how he doesn’t always move the ball out wide - a few times today when things opened up he’d take a cute touch for someone to run into from a central position, like with Johnson and Madine’s efforts. He thinks outside the box and I like that.

Looks after the ball well, runs all day and is a terrific footballer who’s looking more and more like Duffy’s successor.

For me MOTM shouldve been Enda but we can give it Kieran since he won us the game in a generally outstanding display.

Top marks - would move heaven and earth to sign him in the summer.

Dowell is a great prospect but maybe just lacks that turn of pace that Brooks has.

He's started copying Duffy's little half-turn into space to bring us out of defence; the difference is, he's a bit quicker and his dribbling is a bit better, so he can make a real difference on the counter.

Duffy better for when we need patient possession, though, so should start next week.

His goal was a that of a player switched on and up to speed. Knew exactly what he needed to do and had the ability to do it. He saw it coming from a mile off and adjusted accordingly. Going to be a big player for us in the run in , both in terms of goals and the creation of goals.

Fully agree. His ability to run with the ball is a major bonus for how we play.

Shout out to Johnson as well, being able to step in to our team rather seamlessly after so long on the bench and he certainly hasn’t let us down.

We wanted a Duffy replacement and we got better.
We got better than better. We got different and just as good. A completely different dimension with him on the pitch.

Teams can't prepare to face us in Duffy plus McG more any more. They might get Dowell and McG. Or Duffy and Madine. Or Dowell and Marine. OrMcG and Madine. Or Hogan and McG. Etc etc

Excellent again tonight, and looks the real deal. Different to Duffy in a lot of ways, as he travels more with the ball, is pacier and a bit more direct. Duffy on the other hand is better at anchoring the play around the 18 yard box and pulling the defence inside/out, he also has a better delivery/cross imo.

In any case I am splitting hairs, two fantastic ballers to have in that position. Add McG into the mix as well and we are blessed at this level.

Loved the comment during interview on sky “I’ve never scored a header before, so that was good” it certainly was kid!

Well played Kieran, getting use to our system must be difficult to play agianst never mind play in. He will go from strength to strength once he finds his feet.

Absolute must sign, regardless of what division we sit in. We don’t play to one of his strengths of 25/30 yarders too. Seems to be a quick learner!

Would love to.see them play together in games like today when we need to retain possession to ease pressure but with injuries it just wasn't possible

Best signing of the January window for me. You could see from the highlight reels that he can perform at this level. This couldn't be said for Woodburn.

I think he's just going to get better and better for us.

As long as Marco Silva is Everton manager he will be available, and is a must sign. If we’re in the prem he should be nailed on, if we don’t go up he should be our one big money (Egan) signing.

Better than Brooks.

Not sure about the last point at all, but he’s one hell of a talent

Him being marginalised at Forest shows all you need to know about Karanka.

Lad is the deci option of languid on the ball. Loads of clever touches. But still put a shift in off the ball

We also got a cheeky back heel too ;)
