Unbelievable. Tonight you were awesome being a centre half, over lapping centre half, left wing back, over lapping left wing back and central midfielder. Probably the performance of the season for me, quite outstanding.

Been brilliant all season. My MOTM tonight as well. Thoroughly deserved his new contract. That he’s filled in seamlessly for JOC in a defence completely chopped and changed (him being the only regular left) over this last 3 games and produced 9pts with 0 conceded says it all.

As much as Billy or Madine doing it would be great, Id LOVE Enda to bag the winner next Monday.

At the end of last season we were all saying he was vunerable and should be replaced. The turn around has been remarkable, fair play Enda probably the most improved player in recent memory.

From the very start of this season he has been consistently one of our best players.

I wanted us to sign competition for him in the summer, thinking he was one of our weaker starters. How very wrong was I...

Totally agree, last season he was good but seemed to have levelled out as an average to decent left back at Championship level
But this seasons he’s ramped it up a few notches and has surprised me how much he’s improved.

I must admit, I did hold this opinion (shame on me).

He came in and did really well, then seemingly burned out from the new year and I wanted us to go for Douglas (who went to Leeds) or Robinson who left QPR for Forest.

I hold my hands up to my poor judgement and can truly say he's in our top 3 players so far this season.

Not all. For me his drop off going forward was due to O'Connell's lack of overlapping runs post Christmas when his achilles was giving him grief. Enda's defensive output never dropped off.He became the unfortunate scapegoat

Not wanting to put a downer on it, but if O'Connell got an offer he and we couldn't refuse, we could do worse than Enda there.

It might be easier to replace the LWB role than to find an overlapping left footed centre back.
