Just been watching the replay.

Wonder if it might be Hogan’s. It seemed to change direction a lot as it went by him.

The goalcam video should be clear later. Quite nice if it goes to Hogan, as he looks a bit short on confidence.

If anything it was an own goal as it was a massive deflection off their defender. Apparently from discussion in the pub afterwards through, deflected goals still go the shooter if the original shot was on target, which Fleck's definitely was.

Not sure about Hogan lacking confidence, tested keeper 2/3 times yesterday, never was afraid to shoot.

It's been credited to Fleck. It did deflect off their player but the original shot was on target.

Was bang behind it. It was on target anyway. Deflected off a reading man and went into the other corner.

I wish we would shoot more like that anything can happen. The shot was on target, the keeper might save it or push it out to one of our players for a tap in or it goes straight in so it's worth having a pop if nothing else is on. Fleck's goal the defender knew very little about it.

We were having exactly that discussion in the first half. Duffy had a shot and it didn't really trouble the keeper from 25 yards, as it wouldn't and we were saying that it needed a deflection, as a few of his have recently. Lo and behold, four minutes into the second half that's exactly what happens. Those goals will be called flukey by our cross city brethren, but a bit like penalties, if you put yourself in the position, sometimes they will work out for you.
