I think they are told not to, then again, it's probably more than their jobs worth to get involved half the time. Does make it all a bit pointless though.

T’was quite funny. The orange jackets are clearly crowd control so if he’d have run past the two on the gangway would they have let him go ? Would have been my clear route out anyway, the orange can’t touch you so head for them.

that was the most pointless pitch invader. no idea what his point was, but at least he gave us 2 laughs when he fell over the barrier & then got arrested. but im going to guess, he mayve been a bit plastered & as he walked right infront of me. i was confused surely you bolt up the stairs & try to get out of the ground without being arrested. instead ambling along the concourse & asking to be arrested.

also im hearing rumours so could be wrong, that this guy had borrowed a friend's season ticket. if true then police is the least of his worries
