There was only one team out there trying to win that game thank fuck we didn’t go for Hugill ! , Gibson must be thinking I’ve spent x millions to see assemble a team that can only go out and stifle others .. must have had same director of football as Chansiri ?
Wonder when the Boro fans that are calling the ref see the highlights & look at Shottons pre game attempt a shirt swap with madine
might see things in a slightly different light ?
Really big win & cleansheet after Friday moreso with injuries & changes to side ..showed a lot of mettle & character last night
Well done lads

Every team that comes and gets mullered at the Lane play shite and gift the Blades all 3 points. It's amazing how often these teams seem to under-perform when they play SUFC. It's a real soccer conundrum that defies belief - we are 3rd in the league (only 3 points behind top-spot) despite being an average team with one of the lowest transfer valuations in the division, and despite having recently clawed our way out of the 3rd tier. How on earth can we continue to expect such lofty status when the likes of massive clubs like Middlesboro, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Derby County, West Brom, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wendy struggle to hang on to our coat-tails? Unbelievable...

PS - and all these refs being Blades Biased doesn't help the poor saps either.

Thanks Roy.

The funniest thing I've ever read on a 'View From.....' Wilder to leave us and go to Middlesbrough'
I disagree, if we don't get promoted this season and the boardroom struggle means restraints on spending next season, he could go in the summer. If he did then Boro would be a sensible fit, for no other reason than Steve Gibson is a sensible, patient chairman, fanatically Boro and willing to invest in the club, ground, training facilities, etc. The general consensus is that Premier League clubs won't touch English championship managers, therefore, if he were to go (hope to God he doesn't) the list of potential suitors is actually quite short. Given the boardroom catastrophe here, he'll be desperate to avoid any such repeat, to preserve his sanity as well as enhance his career. Additionally, Boro (like WBA) fans are (were) sick and tired of crap football, they'd give their souls to be entertained by Wilder's approach to the game.

Seriously, I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Fresh out of L1, good couple of seasons in the Championship and his experience and reputation is building nicely. I think he’ll give it another go and if we get no investment then he may be off. Don’t forget the revolving Merry go round big Billy bollocks who keep getting hired despite serial failures - he won’t get a Premiership job so attractive jobs in our league will be very limited.
I’m a believer UTB

Jesus Christ, some people actually believing that he might go to somewhere like Boro or West Brom

Makes me want to puke that some have such little ambition

Middlesboro and West Brom will be cutting their cloth big time if they don't go up

The dark and dismal cloud of Bladey Inferiority Complex continues to envelop S2.

Agree - I could see him going to someone like Newcastle IF he decides to go, but Boro and West Brom would be a big mistake.
