Except for the foul for the free kick from which we scored. The one and only non-offside/thrown-in decision given by either linesman.

I've mentioned this on another thread. A couple of minutes before that both Wilder and Knill had a right pop at him, holding three fingers up which I assume indicated the amount of decisions he'd not given.
If this influenced him in to giving that decision then good. I'm all for it.

Did anyone have a better view of Sharp’s offside goal. Looked close form middle of the south stand but we did wonder would it have gone in without intervention?

I was almost in line with it and although I haven’t seen a replay, it looked offside and wasn’t going in.

Linesman put his flag up immediately and I’d sat down almost as quickly. Prayed for a second we’d get away with it but I think all the players knew he was offside. Good defending to get out fast really.

Yes, for a big strong lad he has a poor sense of balance and a tendency to fall over. He's always done that and it used to be very annoying. These days it makes perfect sense

It all adds up doesn't it. The Sharp disallowed goal, the foul(s) not given on Madine, the crowd getting riled up at the same time, ditto Wilder and Knill. All of that reduced the likelihood of Stearman's goal being ruled out. On another day, that would've been disallowed IMO.

Could've been a penalty, but the fact he got some connection on it and nearly scored anyway might not have helped his case in some ways.

Egan doing some overlapping, starting the move and got in a great position too just before the cross.

Just watched the highlights and he did climb on him a bit. If the defender had got up quicker he wouldn’t have been able to but I’ve seen them given, occasionally.

Exactly, completely agree. But I just think with the way the game was swinging, there was no way it was being disallowed. If you see what I mean. Apologies for my first reply, I'd seen it discussed so much I assumed you were on the wind up!

Is there a website that has extended highlights? I'd like to see some of these incidents again as a few were hard to judge at the time but Sky's highlights are terrible.

They're on iFollow now, it's usually about a day after kickoff before the extended highlights go up on there. You just need a free account for most stuff on there, interviews, highlights etc...

When refs do that I often think it's because they're unfit and need to give themselves a little rest.

I think we as fans forget that the ref sees it just once and can only view from one angle, which in this instance was behind the incident and it would be difficult to see. The Linesman is in a better position, but he's some distance away and also it happened in a flash. I had to watch it back on slow mo, from the side to clearly see it. Overall I thought the ref was reasonable yesterday; much better than our fans thought, but saying that I didn't like the pulling back of Cranie for at throw and the times where he seemed to want to sort stuff out that didn't need it, before free kicks.

No, hadn’t seen it mentioned and don’t recall it being mentioned on TV after the goal, possibly because I was too excited to listen.

Only seen it back on my phone, but in real life it looked like a blatant tug on Madine. How is that not given?

Did it look like a pen for anyone watching on tv?

Just been watching recording on sky. Never a pen, arm was on him fair enough but not enough to make him go down like that.

Problem is Madine has a bit of a rep for going down easy, wonder if refs are on guard for it

I thought it was his leg as much as his arm. Looks like he kicks through the back of Madines calves.

As did I, but still managed to see a hell of a lot more than the Linesman on John Street (who made about 1 decision all game) and the referee.
