Was delighted when he signed and I’m happy he’s proving the doubters wrong. A fool in his early 20s, now hopefully rehabilitated, not that anyone deserves a second chance of course.

Helped change the game 2nd half for me. The two centre halves were coasting and then suddenly some physicality up top and they were made to work. He can also play with the the ball at his feet.

If he could have gone 90 minutes at Villa we’d have won it, but he rightfully needed to come off as he’s not quite a 90 minute man yet.

Always thought he would prove to be just what we wanted, and he hasn't surprised me in the slightest 're him being a very good player. He's been a handful for a long time.

You only had to watch him dominate our defence last season in the game around Xmas time to know just what he could do (actually I think this game helped CW realise that we needed an upgrade on Stearman, as Madine murdered Stears that day).

I was actually pleased with the signing of Madine and was probably in a minority. Though I will admit that I thought it would be more difficult for him to settle in than has proven to be the case so far. I expected him to get pelters and that could have been a major problem for the side. Luckily (and CW has mentioned this too) the fans have been very accepting of him.

Early days, but a very lively start for him. Just stay off the booze and out of the city pubs n clubs please Gary. Time to grow up and settle down lad.

Yeah, could see it. The 3 of them do seem to work well together. Sharp and McG anticipate flick ons quite well and both have an excellent first touch. Duffy or Dowell present excellent options in case it doesn't work.

It's clear what he's been brought here to do, I still don't think he's shown much yet though. I can see what we're trying to use him for but he looks rusty and his touch sometimes escapes him. He's not a natural goalscorer either, that much is clear.

Not quite at it just yet, but offers something different. Not a £6m footballer, never a Premier League level striker, clear to see why Warnock isn't using him, but how he helped Cardiff get up, without scoring.

Oh and he's still a fucking full weight.

Wilder has a plan . At this moment in our evolution he wanted a big target man to unsettle defences. Madine was a choice fraught with controversy but Wilder thougt its a loan; he fits the bill and the price was right. Professionalism at its best from our Chris, he's one of our own you know
