Just so you know and they know.

After yesterdays draw against Reading, Sheffield Wednesday missed to opportunity to go into 14th place in the Championship.

After Fridays draw against Aston Villa, Sheffield United missed the opportunity to go into 1st place in the Championship.

Other way round surely? Given they're on a play off run.

Just trying to think of something to say and the only thing i can think of is

Mind the Gap.

But i know from Porktalk that we need to enjoy this now because with Captain Brucie at the Helm HMS Rust Bucket will be full steam ahead next season.

Unless of course there is Swirling wind about.

This is how much ground they have made up in their recent playoff push

So they have gained 3 points on Derby and lost 5 on Bristol City. They have made up 5 points in 8 games on Leeds so at that rate it would only take another 32 games to overhaul them and claim 6th place

Reckon they may plea with the FA for some additional matches to be added to the current season?

More to the point, Mr 80000 were at the sty to watch Pele has been a travel companion this evening and hasn't ripped the Villa comeback, just managed a 'shit, you lot looked good Villa got stuffed'.

I'll take that.

The genuine belief from not just one or two pigs but from many they had a chance at the playoffs was disturbing.

Oh, and that fucking club badge. Proper clubs don't let their club badge be changed to that monstrosity. Awful.

Had? Had? Tomorrow they're at Millwall. Saturday they're at Rotherham. Any points they may get from these two games will see their rush to the play-offs confirmed. So that's Ipswich, Reading, Millwall & Rotherham - one of the easier, 'winnable' runs of games that the fixture computer throws up and gets idiot fans like Wednesday's all giddy. (Bristol City have just had Brentford, Rotherham, Stoke (A), Bolton, Forest (A), Swansea, Blackburn (A) and tomorrow are at home to QPR. Not the most challenging run of games - but one that can distort 'form guides').

Yesterday I had a couple of them - one a Wednesday 'fan' who hasn't been in decades, and one a Barnsley 'fan' who, when I enquired about the injury to top-scorer Kiefer Moore, hadn't heard of either the injury and didn't know who Kiefer Moore was . Both of them asked 'What went wrong with your lot on Friday night?' (not a word about a stellar 0-0 draw at home to Reading...) I said

'It's easy. Didn't you see Chris Wilder shouting on the touchline when we were 3-0 up? He was saying 'Ease up, lads. We don't want to run away with it. Give the other fuckers a chance'...:)

TBF to piggies mate they are struggling to comprehend how a team can chuck a 3 goal lead away. You have to remember to be able to chuck a 3 goal lead away one must 1st be able to score 3 goals.

Wednesday draw at home against a team in the relegation zone - seen as a win.

United draw away against a recent ex-prem team - seen as a loss.

That is the difference in Sheffield football at the moment.

6 goals for in the last 8 games. 5 conceded.

Well worth of their £40+ POTD pricing. Entertainment is at all all time high.

Not just at the moment mate, they’ve always been deluded daft twats. :)
