The ball is on the 6 yard line and he has a clear path to it. A goalkeeper should be claiming that ball. Asking defenders to defend corners on their own 6 yard line is a sign of a weak goalkeeper for commanding his area.

Didn't Mings get away from his man before the six yard line? Not saying Henderson didn't make a mistake but Mings should have been marked. I can't see Wilder telling his team to leave Mings to Deano. Changing shape virtually asked Villa to come at us. Just before Billy came of he was praised for his non stop running chasing the ball down. Now he may have been shattered but we stopped doing that, at least as intense. Madine kept the centre backs on their toes. He goes off, that physical presence has gone.

Which points has he won us? I can’t recall any.

It's a running myth that he wins games for us, as though he's pulling off save after save. He hardly has anything to do in most games. He has however, cost us at least 5 points: Stoke (2 points), Leeds (1 point), Villa (2 points). He is better than Moore, but for me Henderson is an average Championship standard goalkeeper.

I'm sorry but a keeper has the advantage of being allowed to catch the ball anything coming into the six yard box should be the keepers. Stevens was right to have a go at the end he cost us tonight very weak goalkeeping no matter how you dress it up.

Agree, Madine should have been kept on for their aerial threat...but seeing our goalkeeper shy away from a cross has really hacked me off. I can forgive mistakes, but he simply didn't want to get hurt. The ball was his and he gifted them a goal.

I agree with that and he didn't really get off the floor but Mings got away from his man. Basham? Who was like a rabbit in the headlights for the last 10 mins and added time. It was happening all over the pitch. Baldock takes the ball into the corner and then Fleck turns it back into the centre with a 50/50 ball. That's a far far bigger error than Jacks miskick complete control to utter shambles.

Results like these bring out the worst on both sides. Personally find the smug egotists looking down on others to be most annoying.

Just watched goals, he do was v poor for both goals and JOC what a terrible attempted clearance.

Poor goalkeeping, a poor clearance and a poor decision to bring on Cranie I believe. At 4-0 at home against Villa CW made a similar decision and Villa had a 10 minute purple patch and scored a goal.

Made a similar decision last week and invited Bolton to come onto us.

Still it is another point, better than none!
