Friday afternoon car, Dagenham Dustbins suffered a variety of faults from bored line workers, the most common being a Coke bottle top put inside the air cleaner and then bolted up.....

The council has rammed down our throats constantly of the need to restrict cars from the city centre since day dot and the punitive measures imposed upon motorists to achieve this. The photos from that era (and there are plenty in this thread) show what a load of bollocks the council's claims were - there's hardly ever any fucking cars in the shot. However, they will be able to counter this by claiming they achieved their main objective - of creating a Soviet-era replica city centre in place of the thriving metropolis we once had.
