Indeed and Egan sems to revel in holding the centre all on his own at times. We do tend to modify that approach in away games though - seen a few recently where the back 3 sit and rarely look to get forward. We did this in the away game at Wigan.

Reckon we may be modifying our approach where the opposition are of better quality.

One thing was telling today, Egan's a lot more solid than Stears. Few long balls over the top that Stears struggled with but before the reshuffle such balls were food and drink for Eg's.

Definitely, plays the Jake Wright role with more quality. Holds the rearguard of the team together brilliantly and is unflappable. He spreads confidence. A steal at £4m.

Still going for Enda for POS though, an EPL quality player, and playing consistently very well all season.

Seem to remember a moment in 2nd half where he played a backpass to hendo. Ran over to the right CB position received the ball back and took off running up the line before playing a pass into midfield. The speed he did all of that was amazing never seen him move that fast

It‘s a crowded field, but Egan is my player of the season so far. He’s been done for pace now and then, and turned occasionally, but which CH in this division (VVD excepted) hasn’t?

Positionally exemplary, brave as a lion, faultless commitment, decent on the ball, as committed a team player as you’ll find.

We absolutely must hold on to him in January.
