Might go just to boo Hendo and Cresswell, tell Ched he's lazy and let Bunn know his hilarious new name ;)

Sheffield United season ticket holders collecting their free 120th anniversary shirt from Bramall Lane this week might see a few familiar faces behind the counter.
Blades stars Darius Henderson, Richard Cresswell, Mark Bunn and Ched Evans are set for a stint in the Blades superstore handing out the unique shirts to supporters.
The black strip which marks the club's special milestone is available from today at the club superstore, city centre shop within TJ Hughes and the official merchandise unit located on the VisitMalta.com concourse during matchdays.
Supporters who renewed their season ticket before 16th April and received a voucher have until 30th November to collect their free shirt.
First-team stars Henderson, Cresswell, Bunn and Evans will be at Bramall Lane from 2pm on Thursday (22nd October) helping fans to collect their shirt.
Peter Pridmore, head of retail at Sheffield United, said: "We had a terrific response from supporters renewing their season ticket early, so as a thank you we wanted to offer them this unique shirt for free. What better way to receive the shirt than someone from the first team handing it to you."
United's anniversary shirt, designed and produced by Italian sportswear manufacturer Macron, features the name of every single player which has turned out for the Blades during the last 120 years.
Gianluca Pavanello, chief executive for Macron, said: "Macron were delighted to be invited to produce such a significant shirt for Blades fans.
"The 120-year anniversary is an incredible landmark for Sheffield United and we are very proud to be a part of the celebrations."
Due to the high volume of shirts available, the club is operating a staged collection from various shops.
Supporters who ordered a medium or large shirt can collect their shirts from today. The remaining sizes small, XL, XXL and XXXL will be available for collection from 9am, Friday 23rd October.
All remaining supporters will be able to purchase the new kit from 1st December for £50.
The Blades superstore has extended its open hours for the rest of October to 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm on Saturdays and 10am-2pm on Sundays.
The Superstore at Bramall Lane is also open after each home match for approximately one hour.
To avoid queuing season ticket holders are advised to collect their shirts on non-match days where possible.

Not got a scooby what size I ordered :D

I can't remember what I did with my slip to go and collect it. Any ideas what I do if I can't?

Lets hope that hendo can hold the shirts up longer than he does the football!!!

Can't believe it's £50 to buy. Let's rip the fans off even more because it's a special kit, £40 ain't good enough. I hope the quality is better than the usual we have to put up with.

Mines free....... :fishy:

It's free for 17,000 of us so they're hardly ripping the fans off. More like ripping part time fans off. Which I don't mind in the slightest :D

Ah the old I'm a bigger blade because I've got a season ticket syndrome....not all are fortunate enough to be able to buy a season ticket/attend all matches. Part timers-who needs em eh?

Lucky you! :D

It was said tongue in cheek :)

I've just been down and got the shirt and it's pretty good. Medium is a bit big though. The other down side is that you will probably spend 10 minutes wearing the top and reading all the names upside down which will make u appear to be asleep. Well, that's my excuse for later anyway :D

;) I'm a bit sensitive today

We long term shareholders get the worst treatment of all - we put our money into the club in its darkest hours, saw it lose all its value over the decades and don't even get a shirt for our troubles!

It's ripping fans off who the kit isn't free to. They've put it up to £50 to make up for the free ones given away, otherwise it would have been £40.
It's just like the postage thing on the shop-many have the chance to go into the shop and buy what they want and take it away there and then but the rest can't so let's rip them off as they are part timers for living away from South Yorkshire!
All the bigger blade stuff because some people can attend all the matches and buy a season ticket but others like myself cannot and never probably will again.
Yeah I know it was probably said toungue in cheek but there are fans out there that think that! I use to sit near some of them and back then I did attend all matches but never thought it!

Yep! :D

Well I'm not a season ticket holder, but I've been to every home game for the past 2 seasons. I don't see the problem with spending an extra £10 on a the kit.

It was a loyalty thing for the season ticket holders, and a good move by the club. I don't see the "I'm a bigger blade" argument coming into it.
If you paid you money upfront and go to every match you get this as a reward, quite right too.

No it's not. It's a special edition, and therefore has a premium price. In my opinion, £40 is expensive for a normal shirt, but I don't think that an extra tenner for a special, commemorative one is really ripping the fans off anymore than normal.

Postage costs them money, not to mention packaging and processing. They didn't force people who can't make it to the shop to live away from Sheffield. I'd like to buy stuff from Harrods but I don't live in London. Should they just send me stuff with free postage? No.

All the bigger blade stuff because some people can attend all the matches and buy a season ticket but others like myself cannot and never probably will again.

All what bigger Blade stuff? Do you want a chip for your other shoulder so that you're more balanced? I've got a season ticket, but I don't see myself as a bigger Blade than you or anyone else. Possibly more qualified to talk about the atmosphere on the Kop, or the quality of the football at home, but not a bigger Blade.

I wouldn't if it was gonna be decent quality but the last so many le coq shirts I've had have been crap for £40 nevermind £50. £40 is more than enough, special kit or not but as usual we get ripped off. I haven't heard that the apparent new make (macron) is any better than le coq! Please let me know if it is! :)

Yeah and IMO £50 is too expensive for a special edition shirt. I'll keep quiet next time, can't write owt without someone having a go and twisting what you say. All I said I'd heard people with the whole bigger blade thing-I didn't say you were all the same christ.
I'm getting the shirt for free anyway (and I am not a season ticket holder) so I've hardly got a chip on my shoulder! :D I'm just saying I don't think a football kit is worth £50 especially one made by le coq. Edit...macron, le coq whatever, all the ones I've had in the past have been poor quality.

A set of dart flights 99p and postage for them - £3! I got them off ebay, the exact same ones for 99p plus £1 postage. Different items should be different prices! As for that crap about should Harrods send my stuff with free postage-I never said I expect free postage anyway! I just think £3 is too much FOR SOME ITEMS and I believe it was more until quite recently.

And yeah, you're definitely gonna be more qualified to talk about the atmosphere on the Kop - I've only been on it a few times, I was a South Stand s/ticket holder. ;) :D

Have they deliberately chosen players whose names won't be on the shirt?

but its not made by Le coq?

Macron or somthin int it?

I don't know lol I haven't been paying much attention with moving house and uni etc etc. None of the sports brands are worth £40/£50, well none I've bought in the past have been. If macron is indeed super amazing then let me know those who have the current home/away shirt. :)

Everything has its own market value, and if people want to pay £40/£50, and the clubs sell enough of them to make a profit, then that is there market value.

Its easy for me to say, as i have still got my voucher and will be picking it up later this week, and i'm tempted to keep it in its wrapper and see how much its worth in a few years

Yep, I'm sure there will be a few on ebay. :D

Just got mine but there's no Dane Whitehouse, Colin Morris and unbelivably no Tony Currie. Its the cut of the cloth, and their names are just cut off.

Simple solution, have some ambition and eat more :)
