If he's their player of the year, I say sign him up.

Then register him as John Tevez, never pick the cunt then send him on loan to Sheffield Wednesday next season.

Blunt cunts

What a shower of shit that club and there fans are I fucking despise them the cunts.

Seems as though Jack Wilshere is injured again and expected back late February / early March. Quelle surprise and all that, but it's worth saying because I think Fleck and Wilshere are pretty similar players. And when you factor in the amount of injuries West Ham are currently faced with, plus a tidy 3-0 spanking by Wolves last night, you could easily see them upping their bid.

West Ham are showing keen interest in signing Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck in the January transfer window.

The Hammers have already held talks with the Championship side over a £4m deal for the midfielder.

According to The Sun (29 January, page 52), the Hammers have made a second bid for the 27-year-old, who was named the club’s player of the year last season.
The report claims that Sheffield United turned West Ham’s initial bid down, as they are determined to keep him at Bramall Lane. However, the Hammers are keen on signing him this month, and have made another improved 7m pound move for him.

Fleck has been in good form this season, and has made 27 appearances for the club.

He still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his deal at Bramall Lane, but the report suggests that the Blades could let him go if they find a suitable replacement.
The Blades find themselves third in the Championship table, and are one of the favourites for securing automatic promotion this season.

Cute.. fuck the cheating southern bastards. One team we should have on a block list.

Be gutted to see him go. At any price.

But the club will have its valuation. And my guess is £8m-£10m gets it done.

Sadly :(.

UTB

The later it gets the less I see it regardless of fee, just because we'd have no time for a replacement.

I'm going to believe in Cadette, and West Ham can fuck off in general.

I like fleck but 7m is crazy money for a guy with his limitations
Just can't see it Being true

If CW can get a replacement take the money. Fock reyt off form. Got to be clinical in the drive for promotion. He has been our weak link in MF this season.

Yes. The fact we quickly turned that down highlights you shouldn’t base your valuations on transfermarkt.com.

Is that where they get them from? I always thought a large section of our fans just hadn’t watched any transfer related news since 2006 and still based their valuations on that period, but you could be right.

base it on the fact we need better for the prem
Fleck is a good championship player to me ,
has bad games now and then when his radars off
was too good for league one

So despite us turning down £4m, you still think he’s only worth £2m? I’m glad you’re not in charge of our transfer business.

2.5 to 3 would have been my valuation to another championship club
he should chip in with more goals to be worth more
only one so far lets down his stats

prices are based on worth judged by other football coaches , not unicorns
scotlands not convinced by him still

£8m or I’m not interested. Anyone that thinks he’s worth less than that is massively under selling and under rating him. Recent slightly below par performances aside he’s one of the better box to box midfielders in the Championship. In today’s market £8m is a fair price for that.

He's been awful all season mate ,pains me to.say it as he is the one player I'd like to see do well above all the others
Brief glimpses of his talent but mostly looks a bit lost and gives the ball away needlessly way too much

That’s unbelievably harsh but I’m all for opinions.

As much as I like Fleck, I can't believe West Ham are going to save their season with him. I just don't get it from their perspective.

We have literally no-one else to play the Fleck part of our game. If he goes it's a huge gamble that an incoming player is going to be a success in that role, let alone hit the ground running.

I really don’t want Fleck to leave us. However, we know everyone has their price, but the January window generally means players go for more than their worth added to that we’re about to enter the last day should mean any price we do get should be vastly inflated. Hopefully enough to put the cockney chancers off
