I'm away at the minute so watched on ifollow it's been while since I've heard him as summariser but my god he must be infuriating to work with. Banging on about lumping balls in the box sooner then we score our second and he has the cheek to say "nice patient build up with a good cross".

Great footballers don't make great media guys.

At half time he was saying we were 2nd best. After their goal we were easily the better team

He likes a moan, that's for sure, but if you can bring yourself to listen to someone being a little critical of our brave boys from time to time, you might hear that he actually makes some very pertinent points.

He doesn't slag the team off for the sake of it, I find his criticism of Utd from time to time is usually constructive as he tries to explain why he's saying what he is.

He can ramble on a bit, and he can be negative at times, but imo he does talk a lot of sense. I try to listen to him though rather than just go apoplectic that someone is daring to question an aspect of our play.

Edwards does a good job for me.

Oh, and not that it counts for anything re the commentary debate, but he is a club legend. A predecessor of Billy.

Great player for us but it’s a long time since he retired.

Would rather hear from the players who have retired this last ten years as expert sumerisor.

That’s why Alan Hansen chose to step down.

Have to disagree. I thought they were the better side in the first half as they controlled the midfield despite our huff n puff. Second half though, we were definately the better side throughout.

To be fair to Norwich, they were clinical up front and took their chances. Luckily we've got Billy.

I like Edwards. He does talk some bollocks though.

He goes on about the crosses coming in early from a strikers point of view. You point where you want it and make your run, if it doesn't come in you are then redundant and probably offside so have to start again
Nobody is saying get the cross in immediately every time, but there are times when we mess about trying to manufacture a better position when there was nothing wrong with the position we were in in the first place.

There will always be times when delaying the cross will work and there will always be times when an early cross works, the decision making is where we sometimes falter

As a player.
As a commentator, end it.

Don't agree Harris personally, but saying that I really like Kevin Gage too. The mix of them both doing it works well for me, but Gagey's home games are only plsyed back on the clubs website, otherwise he doesn't get the air time that would be the case for an away game, but I still think Keith Edwards should do the away games, he's done a great job in my view, and tells it like it is.

He may talk bollocks, but for all the great times he gave us in the 80s I’ll forgive him all that. BUT the other guy who was commentating today used the expression “Lever Arched” about 5 times when describing O’Connell and Egan outjumping their opponent. What’s that all about? As far as I’m aware a lever arch is a kind of file.
