If the final analysis is that Leo has been >50% shit for SU (He has and you know it) than I will consider this one of the many many times I got the call right. And from a very early stage in his SU career.

He’s shuffled between poor and average of late but to put your opinion into context, was it you, who after a game in which he scored a few times tempered everyone’s congratulations with “but he was poor before the first goal” probably the biggest straw anyone has ever tried to clutch on here.

I can’t work out who’s your real target behind your words. I suspect it’s Wilder.

Is it speculation that multiple posters have stated that they have seen Duffy shrug his shoulders / glance at teammates despairingly / look totally cheesed off when dragged off the pitch for the umpteenth time ?

Or does is constitute evidence that has been corroborated from multiple sources as being consistent with what they are freely admitting they see ?

I accept it is an interpretation, but when this view is widely consistent, it would have to come under the banner of evidence, rather than mere speculation. IMHO.

I don't really see what the problem is. Duffy bossed it in 1st Half. I'm sure that Graham Potter said to his team at half time to have multiple players marking Duffy.

Teams should know that if you take Duffy out of the game, you are really taking the whole team out of the game. If Duffs isn't having a good game then we are absolutely lost.

2nd half I don't think it was anything to do with Duffy, I just think Swansea made sure he was out of the game. Didn't even for a second think about his fitness

The face pulling, unheard comments etc no doubt happened, but any interpretation of them isn’t factual. Like your claim Wilder doesn’t rate/fancy Sharp at this level. That’s an opinion just as is your claim for evedence making things fit your agenda. If Duffy comes out and says it wasn’t aimed at the management will you suggest your “evidence” shows that he’s lying, or has had to say that?

yes, this does happen which is why we need to take advantage first half - which we haven't numerous times this season which translates to getting done 2nd half.

My annoyance is not that the opposition "sort it" at HT - but that we don't have a proper solution when Duffy has to go off. Suppose the theory is that Dowell is here for that reason (and Woodburn before?) - just hope that Dowell actually can have a major influence.

Question. At what point do multiple speculations, which present a consistent view, become evidence ?

I don’t have an answer to this, but if there is one, I suspect this is where our perceptions differ.

Would 100 consistent instances suffice ???

I don’t feel that this would need to be sufficient so as to hold up, legally speaking. But when a growing number of fans corroborate what they see, it has to more than co-incidence. Would it not ??

You may have noticed that Dronnie's argument has changed slightly from what he originally started out with. His argument was that Duffy's tweet was aimed at Wilder, the tweet references people suggesting that Duffy isn't fit enough to play a full 90. It doesn't say anything about Duffy being pissed off about being substituted, which is where Dronnie now seems to be focusing his attention. The 'evidence' that Dronnie refers to is Duffy shrugging his shoulders on one occasions when being substituted. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that Wilder doesn't think Duffy is fit enough and therefore there's no evidence to suggest that Duffy's tweet was aimed at Wilder. As I said before, the subbing of Duffy could purely be a tactical move, seeing as he plays in the position where a change is likely to have the biggest effect.

I'd fully expect Duffy to be annoyed with being substituted, he wants to play football, but he didn't mention that in his tweet. If Duffy had a problem with Wilder's decisions he'd speak to him about them in person, not somewhere that Wilder won't even see it. Dronnie may feel that being bitchy on twitter is the way professional people go about things but that's not actually the case.

So who’s questioning Duffys fitness levels then? The only evidence I’ve seen is the manager who takes him off every week, the one who doesn’t think he can play any more part in a game after roughly an hour.

If there is some fans questioning it then I haven’t seen or heard them yet.

If there are any, which I highly doubt by the way, then they will be few and far between and perhaps Duffy should take it up with them himself and private message them instead of putting it all over social media making out that our fan base don’t like him or respect his efforts, he’s been a great servant to our club.

He might have had a quiet word with Wilder regards his substitutions every week, nobody knows but imho he should not be taken off everytime a game is in the balance when he is clearly our main provider, he isn’t always blowing out of his arse.
