Just wondering, loads seem to be whining and moaning as if the wheels have come off.

Just wondered if anyone like me was just buzzing at the fact we’re 3rd with a cracking game at the weekend and a striker coming in this week to bolster?

Don’t even care it’s Madine I’m just happy with how it is right now.

I’m probably the most happy I’ve ever been watching United. Sure I’ve had really happy days in the cups and promotions etc but if we’re talking general happiness then I’d say yes.

It does help that I woke up with a size 8, blonde ex pornstar sat on my face this morning though.

I'm as happy as Larry about our league form.

I am furious about yesterday's fiasco.

I think Madine is a cheap option but I'm not going to worry about him unless and until he takes game time away from strikers who are actually good.

Which one is he?

Overall I am delighted with how things are going.

Yesterday was just a crap day at the office but I have seen worse and most of those players are much better than that. Be reyt.

As for Madine, gradually coming to terms with it but he better put in fucking shift.

Was very happy, until the Madine rumours started.

He’s a big enough cunt to cast a dark shadow over things for me.

I’m usually a clapper as well, there was probably one signing and one signing alone that would ruin my season and that is fucking bellend Madine.

Been watching us regularly since1976.

And I’d say this is the happiest I’ve ever been supporting the Blades. The reason is because entertainment is almost guaranteed every single match.

Even when we lose I still tend to feel entertained because we always put in a performance at times playing great football.

Don’t worry about the negative posters, it’s only an opinion and I suspect a level of attention/ reaction seeking.

"ex pornstar"? Is she someone's grannie?

Just seen this after posting a similar new thread (apologies)

I’m chuffed to bits. Currently skiing in the alps and whilst we need more snow I’ve ski’d everyone of the last 8 days with 5 more to go.

Run yesterday afternoon, Spin bike session tonight and weds, swimming tomorrow... so my training is well under way. And next week I’ll be in the sunshine of Cyprus

It’s like Horsforth was 10 years ago, I love it I’m on Priesthorpe so the Fleece is my local. Had a lovely carvery in there yesterday.

I’m either in the Owl or the fleece after work for a couple of pints. You called Rodley cos you live there?

Why aren't people allowed to be happy with some things and not others? Are we only allowed to be happy when we accept everything without question? Wilder's Blades is in danger of becoming some sort of cult. "In Wilder we trust" and all that. Some of the vitriol directed at people who dare to criticise Madine's signing is evidence of a lurch to a new code of being a "proper Blade" that will only cause division in the long run. Posts claiming people's concerns are just "attention seeking" beggars belief.

The groupthink at the moment is that it's wrong to be angry about yesterday's defeat.

It is possible to be very happy with our league position and our league form. While also being very unhappy at the signing of some dickhead who we don't really need for footballing reasons.

We can also be unhappy that our reserves don't seem that keen to push for a start in the first 11 based on yesterdays performance.

Some of us are just worried the arrival of Madine and the poor showing yesterday may have an impact on our current position. Anyway lets ignore the concerns put our heads in the sand and hope it all works out in the end.

I did mate but I’m up in Horsforth now.

Yep with the Farsley Constitutional opening up and doing comedy, there’s plenty happening. Used to drink in the Owl when I was in Rodley a few years back, but the landlady shifted up to the Fleece. Don’t get in there (the Fleece) very often. Well stocked for boozers up here mind.

Used to head to Coopers for a pre-match full English / bacon sarnie a few years back!

“NW Leeds Blades we are here” ;) :D

The chuckles I get from reading the nonsense emanating from all the usual doom-merchants and well-poisoning negative-leaning "fans" help to keep my entertainment levels bouyant during these periods of rest for my red & white heroes. If CW bothers to read this crap I suspect he'll have a good giggle too.

Yes, I'm sure he found yesterday hilarious.

I just don’t see why people need to spout off when really there’s nothing to spout off about. Everything is great, we’re chasong promotion, a fan owning , managing and captaining the club. Good squad of players that care about the shirt.

If Madine signs because CW think he’ll do a job the great. I know everyone has own opinions and is entitled to them however I just question the reasons why and motive as we’re possibly in the best position we’ve been in for a long long time.

Thing is someone with VASTLY More experience, with a brilliant record and a team in the top 3 believes differently. That should be enough right?

I was referring to the crap from all the so-called "fans" - the latest self-inflicted meltdown based mainly on hatred for Gary Madine. It's as if they were desperate for the next story-line to get them out of the hole they dug for themselves over the Ched Evans story. Losing sleep over a reserve team line-up in a 3rd round once-revered FA cup competition down-graded to training ground status by the Premier League is just another symptom of modern-day youthful angst. Ditching "Facebook" and just leaving their Smartphones on permanent re-charge might help them get a grip on reality too maybe?

Lovely food in coopers but I find the mill a bit of a rip off. I lived in the end terrace bang opposite what used to be Harris interiors for 5 years from 2008. Bet you bloody know me by site!

Send me a pm if you every fancy sharing the drive
