Caught the 218 to Bakewell & went to the Thornbridge Tap. Nice set up. Big room, part shop, part bar. I had that King Lukas, Imperial Helles on keg at 6.5%. Lovely, Barley Sugar Sweets all over it, much better than 3 spoonfuls of Tate & Lyle sweet lagers. Tonttu, Hopped Christmas Ale on cask at 6%. Looked great. I don't see many lovely looking red 'uns. The malt was just a bit of hazelnut. Giving way to just bordering on rich hop bitterness, but mainly floral hoppiness. Tapit, chocolate orange stout on keg at 6%. Jeez - Terry's Chocolate Orange in a glass. I'm alright with that. Sort of annoyingly the best of the lot was an old favourite. Green Mountain, hazy session IPA on keg at 4.3%. Just like a box of hops. The juicyness just gets there. But, it's a lovely hop stew. Right up there that one."... Owt else I can help with?..."
Brewery trip report?

Wrong thread. the Theresa May brexit thread is in General Chat
Most of the lads at Tyler’s age are from Sheffield, and blades.
Tyler, Callum Semple and Harvey Gilmour all went to Meadowhead in the same year.
You just can’t beat Sheffield United lads playing for the club they have supported all their lives.
Ask Sharp and CW.
You feel old ! , I went to Rowlinson just next to itJesus Christ. I didn't know they went to Meadowhead. I've just done some maths and worked out they would have started after my younger brother had ended. What the fuck.

You might know Layen then?
Anyone have any insight on Tyler Smith? I know from Roy's updates he's done a good job at Barrow, but how's he been viewed at the club? Is he one of those we've had ear-marked as someone with potential for a while? Playing style, etc?
Anything of this ilk would be grand and much appreciated!
I don’t want to do the maths because they probably weren’t born when I left MeadowheadJesus Christ. I didn't know they went to Meadowhead. I've just done some maths and worked out they would have started after my younger brother had ended. What the fuck.

I knew his old man Gav (very good player, was at Pigs as a youth before Big Ron got rid of the youth team to pay for Steve Nicols wages, now managing Sheff FC), James Wes and Kieran. His grandfather Rich too. All big blades
Barrow folk up in arms
Hes their hero
he certainly has pace, which I believe some think we lack
Thought this was a short poem, disappointed!
ive got a ruptured iambic pentameterI see it's not your thing, forgive me.

When I've seen him I thought he looked more mature in his movements and style than the other players on the pitch.
Be careful versifying with one of those...might lose your poetic licence.ive got a ruptured iambic pentameter
good callHes a blade through and through. Used to play with his Dad and Uncles (all blades) and would love to see him make a success down at the lane. Personally think itd be worth him being around the squad and training for a few weeks after his spell so they can assess him and probably loan him out to a L1 or L2 team for second half of season. Would love for him to get on the bench and get a few minutes over the next few games, would be quality for his development and a huge boost for him
Not sure if it’s been reported anywhere else already, but apparently he’s going to Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
Well at least one Blades player has publicly let slip as to his destination![]()
