I've not been tonight due to work commitments (the first game at the Lane i have missed since last October when i was getting married abroad), and by all accounts we have not played well tonight but that is not what really concerns me.
I have heard that our young goalkeeper has been booed tonight (thats a good innovative new idea as it will smash his confidence to bits and when his confidence is shot to bits and he really is out of form you can blame your nemesis Blackwell and spew more and more bile towards him) , a new signing has been booed on to the pitch tonight, and coming on here it is like a lynch mob has taken over and the lunatics are running the asylum.
Well done all you Blackwell haters, i feel sorry for you that Ipswich didn't get a fourth, and that we managed to sneak a draw out of it as it would have been much much more satisfactory to your respective agendas if we had been tonked at home. Just imagine what a field day you could have had. Blackwell has got to go, Monty is crap, Bunn is Crap, Cresswell is crap, Cheap as Chips, forget promotion, and i can only imagine your disappointment that we didn't get pasted because it takes a lot of sting out of the pleasure you would have got out of being able to come on here and say 'i told you so'.
I've been a Lane regular for longer than i can ever remember, and i do go home and away and i remember the good times, and i can also remember the lean and even leaner times, and for the club to be in the position we are in at the moment, i would take this over some of the goings off occuring at the club in previous years.
I honestly miss the days of the 10,000 crowds at the lane, as the fans were loyal, and the fans weren't fickle, and we didn't get the idiots we have now who demand champagne football, landslide wins and romping away with this division and if they are not getting what they desire then they lambast the chairman, the club, the manager and the players and seem to want to denegrate the club, at every corner, and every turn.
When the knockers get what they want, and Blackwell out, we might as well just give up on the aspirations that us saner supporters have and join the bandwagon that want to drag this club down have started, and when the bandwagon stops then we will back where was years ago, scrabbling around at the foot of the championship or in the lower league, and the lunatics will have gone, the club blown to kingdom bastard cum, yet there will be a lone voice who has not attened the lane for years who will be smugly be able to tell all his mates 'i was right about Blackwell'.
All i can say is back to club, back the manager and if you don't like it, or you can't find it within you to stick with them in what they are trying to do at the given moment in time, then please feel free walk away and find something else to occupy your time as i have had enough of all the sniping, the bitching and the booing.
