Everton - Just like the Blades.

Beyond painful.

Like the sort of thing that would happen to us, but worse.

Good weekend for the future England keepers!

Throw away a draw with a goal keeping howler. Feel sorry for them as like us they are a “ proper club “ and were punished by piece of cruel luck. Gutted for them - totally undeserved.

Wish we were a point behind them.

How Everton survived year on year in the top tier is ludicrous, the cheating cunts.

It wasn’t luck why they lost today, it was a lack of judgement from the goalkeeper, something you might see on a pitch on a Sunday morning from someone pissed up, an embarrassing bit of goalkeeping.

Proper club? Possibly. But they were one of the leading lights of the Premier League formation only to find themselves left way, way behind so I never cry any tears on their behalf.

Anyone hear Martin Tyler giving you less than half the story about the formation of Liverpool FC? "Everton moved to another ground and the landowner thought he'd better form another football club, Liverpool FC"

Doesn't tell you anything of the rancour behind that.

I've had joy for years recounting the story to Liverpool fans who don't know they owe their club to a Tory mayor. And to needle them I like to call them by their original name - Everton Athletic.

He always looks like he's got a huge gaffe in him. A lot people say he's still young (he's 25 in a couple of months) and will iron out these mistakes but he looks like he's strung out on the Colombian Marching Powder a lot of the time.

Flying around the goal when he's got no chance of making a save. He's like the anti Paddy Kenny.

If Van Dyke's miss-hit shot were struck any harder, the ball clears the bar and it ends up being a goalkick. Any softer, and the keeper would've caught the ball.
I think the phrase is 'Shit happens'.

Thought he was unlucky myself. Not sure what he’s supposed to have got wrong. Tipped it over the bar and unluckily it bounced back into play.

If he goes to tip it over the bar then it would’ve gone out for a corner, for some daft reason he tried to keep it in hence the ball coming back in play, a misjudgment and poor goalkeeping.

The only question that needed answering was where did the ref find another minute and half from, after the 4 he’d already put up, to allow for the mistake to occur?

Don't have much luck do we in the Prem. Segers had an off day (as in pay off day) and West Sham & Tevez just openly broke every fucking rule going.

Maybe, but if we'd acted like a Premier League club instead of somebody who'd accidentally been invited to their rich, posh and successful family members wedding we might have stayed there for a while.
The whole year in the Premier League was spoiled by Warnock and McCabe and their comments about how brilliantly poor old little downtrodden us have done

We lost to a poor Chelsea team in 94, and a poor Wigan team in 2007. That's why we were relegated. We didn't perform when it mattered.

Well yes we did lose those games in question and they were certainly a big factor in us getting relegated. However they were only part of the reason and weren't solely why we went down. Another huge factor in us going down those years were clubs/players cheating. If they hadn't have done that then Utd doing their usual and pulling out a gun and shooting themselves in the foot, wouldn't really have mattered and we would have been safe irrespective of those self inflicted fuk ups.

Accept we fukd up royally but never forget or make excuses for the cheating bstards.

Which clubs aren't proper clubs?
Having Sheffield children’s hospital on the front of your shirts , and not paying any tax or national insurance.
Then having the taxman take you to court , only for Mandrake the magician buy you for a £1
Ring any bells
Don’t forget to get the co op to turn a blind eye to close to £20 million in your debt
Now that’s a proper football club
