The return of Lundstram

Really don't understand the hate for him. I think he's a good player.

Can you point out where someone actually says/writes the word "hate"?

I'll put it in context with a question - is he good enough to play consistently in the first team and get us into the top 2 positions?

We have a number of players in the team that qualify for top 2, there are some borderline, and there are some that aren't.

Lundstram for quite a few Blades that I know and numerous on here who put him in the latter category.

Some need to ask the question why he isn't first choice with CW, in the same way that some want Baldock in the team yet Freeman, even with his alleged poor form by some, was still first choice in the team last night.

Lundstram did a very good job last night without actually doing very much. Deadbat's report says similar about Lunny and although it's all about opinions, the team last night performed better than we did against Rotherham with Lunny in it. Saturday may bring something different again.

Freeman wasn’t first choice last night. Tufty said in his post-match interview that George would have played but dropped out sick or injured. The same applied to Leon, who the gaffer praised massively for travelling when he could have cried off and stayed home.

I get the impression both will start Saturday if 100%.

even though Freeman was involved in the 2nd and 3rd goals - seems harsh

He’s been involved in far too many opposition goals lately. His recent performances have reminded me of Kozluk and that’s not a compliment.

Poor touch, dozy, going missing, giving the immediate opponent far too much space, giving the ball away in dangerous areas, looking exhausted from the outset. I like him a lot. He has many good qualities but we need a rest from him.

Baldock is a very capable player too.
