Just checked on the website, you're right, only one ticket per customer. Spectacularly shortsighted of the club to not allow us to buy tickets for friends & family registered on the system.

Yes, it's going to be frustrating seeing empty seats when there needn't be. I get what they're trying to do but surely there's a better way.

Indeed. Frustrating and, by the look of the online ticket sales, just a little bit embarrassing.

Ticket sales look extremely poor. There are still plenty of seats to be had in the South Stand, which sells out for most fixtures, and huge swathes empty in the other stands.

Over the years, the 'live TV' option seemingly appears to have a more pronounced impact on attendance in Sheffield than in other areas of the country (outside of the hardcore, United and Wednesday fans seem to need little excuse to watch at home or in the pub) but it's still a bit disappointing that we appear to be In line for a gate of 24,500 - 25,000.

Sheff de party, yes I have cheers, thanks to the forum. Moved us all to the BL upper to sit together as unfortunately quite a bit of space due to the policy restrictions on this game.

I understand the viewpoint but they live elsewhere and I've always just bought them tickets before, home and away. Same with my parents. My dad regularly watched Billy Sharp playing for Rushden & Diamonds, follows the Blades now and enjoys coming to the game if up in Sheffield. I'm sure many others will be in same position.
