I do love the Scottish gimp comparing Flecks Goal output to Che Adams or Callum Robinson.

Notice he wasn't comparing his output with world Superstar Jack Grealish who is key to everything Villa do, yet has an equally poor contribution on the goals front.

Bizarrely he was focusing his comparisons on none Scottish players too.
 
I did here that United had asked for Semple to be rested as he had played 19 straight full games.
After being out for a year they felt he needed a few games rest.

Very surprised Gilmour has not featured. Hero to zero. Strange one that.

Sam Graham I felt was too young to go out on loan and had far too much still to learn.

Smith now finding the weekly grind of men’s football. Still think he will finish on 20 plus goals this season.

I agree with the Woodburn comments – it wasn’t a good team performance at all in that 2nd half, but he in particular looked a little lost out there, and everything he seemed to attempt went a bit wrong. He has the air of someone very low on confidence, and in truth, he’s been lucky to retain his place in the recent squads. Contrast with someone like Rabbi Matondo last night, who when he came on for his debut looked to have far more of an impact.

No Wales fans commenting on Freeman’s performance? I must have been the only one!

Thought the international views particularly interesting. Would not disagree with their thoughts on Woodburn nor would I be surprised if he went back to Liverpool to be shipped out somewhere else. Been a big disappointment IMO

Gilmour played last night. Did OK, nothing spectacular.

On Elis James’s podcast last week Ewan Roberts was asked to give some insight into Kieron Freeman, which was basically “he’s a right back” and “he’s also played for a few clubs in the Midlands”. They then had a chuckle at how they’d basically never heard of him – I would expect the same is true of the average Wales fan, as Freeman’s U21 caps are a bit of a distant memory...

Lots of nonsense by Liverpool fans being spoken about Woodburn like this one

Just a total lack of knowledge of us and Woodburn himself. He might go on to be a fantastic player still but at the moment he's looking like one of the thousands of players who were hyped but quickly went down the leagues

I wouldn’t even bother with fans views on him from Liverpool (or indeed any of their views) – they simply haven’t seen him play lately, and he looks a completely different player at the moment.
 
Wasn't that impressed with Woodburn at all. Had one scuffed effort on goal just after he came on. Tried to run with it a couple of times but just got into trouble and lost it. The rest of the time he went for the simple pass.
Freeman tried to get forward, but kept having to run back to cover Albania on the break.

Freeman looked distinctly average and was dreadfully out of position in his brief spell. One of his first actions was to hit a straightforward 5-yard pass to Bale straight into touch. He quite simply isn’t a right back, and isn’t as good as Gunter or Roberts in that position either. I’d be concerned to see him feature there on any regular basis, and unless we revert back to a wingback formation (probably unlikely under Giggs from what I’ve seen so far) he’s probably not going to offer much of a threat to either.

Woodburn was awful. The scuffed shot was probably the clearest error, but his general miscontrol of passes, poor passing, sluggishness on the ball, is a world away of his performance levels even a year ago. He’s reminding me a bit of autumn 2008 version of David Cotterill.
