England beat Italy 2-1 and Hendo played well throughout. A couple of his saves in particular were outstanding, he’d no chance with their goal.

I got a bit worried when he went down with after a knock on the knee and needed treatment but he seemed ok after it. That’s 19 games unbeaten now for England u21’s, there’s some cracking prospects in there.

We will need to have won promotion to have him next season as his next development step with Man U will be to be loaned out to a Premier League club for a season.

I was a great save Fred lad..point blank. He also made another really good un in the first half, that was long range but right in the top corner and was generally confident and calm the whole match.
