Extended Highlights

I don't think Sky will be contacting Pearson any time soon (but the commentators did get one thing right - 'It's raining now...') although Pravda would be proud of these highlights. Good shot by the newly-white McGoldrick, tho.

The pen? Like most, it's impossible to say 100%. In real time I thought 'nailed on', but - depending on the angle - who knows? I think Fox just clipped Duffy and that caused him to tangle his legs. I'd have given it. :D)

I thought at the time, that miss by Fox was a real chance. Dunno why Henderson didn't come for it - Fox was only 2 yards out.

Utterly inexcusable to omit Norwood's crossfield pass in the first half - one of the best passes I've ever seen.

Oh, and I don't understand that bit of a banner behind the goal - 'Barnsley Owls'. Where else would they be from? :D

It was a nailed on penalty. Fox tried to get out of the way but he didn’t, hence the clipping of heels with Duffy. Duffy went across his man and Fox got himself into a shocking position defensively, a nailed on pen. I didn’t even know it was up for debate, even Fox didn’t complain, that says it all.

Agreed, don't see where the debate is, Duffs heel was clipped clearly.

Pen was nailed on.
The piggy ran across the back of Duffy. In other words he out Foxed him because Duffy got in front.
It really does not matter now. We are looking forward to the next game. Where as they will now be dreading there next game.

We would have won if we were playing at pigsville on Friday night. They wouldn’t have dared play like that at home what an embarrassment.

Surely they can't play 9 at the back at home even if it is against Frank Lampards Derby County.

Imagine how defensive they'll be if they get Man City in the cup. It would be fascinating.

Just watched the Quest highlights with Colin Murray and Michael Brown. They've gone along with the 'heroic defensive display by Wednesday' crap. We simply don't work the opposing goalie enough in most home games.

Oh, and apparently we had 687 completed passes. Wednesday had 236...

136 is heard

Does twatting it up in the air hoping Fletcher is nearby count as a pass?

At 15.30 we have the Norwood free kick. On another thread I asked the players to be a little smarter in order to create space in the box for our strikers.

Basham is holding the wall (in particular Bannan) from moving to pick up Freeman who has oceans of space down that right side. A pass down that channel and we have a great opportunity of picking out any of our players in the box.

Apart from the penalty, probably the best chance of the night. Wilder has spoken in the past about wrong decision making. That's an ideal example.

Couldn't agree more.

Had the misfortune to have a conversation with this arsehole in West 10,he was with a friend of a friend he is an utter gobshite and a cunt who knows fuck all about football.

I had the misfortune of working with him for 2 years at an Insurance company after he'd finished playing.

He was deluded about Wendy even then, so I asked him why he joined Leeds if he was at such a wonderful massive club

Forget it, move on and start planning train tickets to Fleetwood and Walsall, be better use of your time.

Oh, I don't know Grumps.

Get Hoops and FF back, and with defending of that standard it could be Liverpool and Manchester ...

You never know. :D

It's already being ticketed in Wednesday circles as one of the greatest defensive displays ever seen on a football pitch, a shining example to all budding defenders everywhere ... ;)
