You don't need to explain what you said, I understood it. It just doesn't make sense."This doesn't make any sense" Its not rocket science mate , if can`t work out what i am trying to say i really can`t be bothered to explain !
'Murdered' them 0-0. This is just the rhetoric they used last year after the Lane match and they were rightly mocked for it.
Was it not 0-0 at half time then.
Yes. Still doesn't change my point.
Anyone who watched the game last night needs to think on..
1, Blades handed out a footballing lesson and only the most porcine Wednesday fan doesn't realise it.
2, We weren't good enough to unlock an 8/9 man defence.
3, Ask themselves, how many points could this team, plus £100million spend, get in the Premier League, if promoted.
I'd take issue with your point 2. I think people are getting over stuck on this - we didn't unlock an 8/9 man defence on this occasion, which is different to not being good enough to do it. We did get a penalty and did have chances. If Billy's header had been a foot better placed, everything would be fine, but the game, the play and the chances would have been exactly the same.
Of course, but that's what it's all about. Every 1-0 (or one goal margin) victory is one instant in 90 minutes. It's how the sport works, by all rights we should have had 4 or 5, but they turned up with a plan and on the day our "instant" didn't happen. It could have been the penalty, it could have been Billy's header, or several other moments. You quote an instant. But we had 90 mins.
