We always seem to concede and 5 losses already isn't for the top 2. Play offs and it's been a great season to be fair. On way back gutted!

We concede because of the way we play. When you have wing backs and over lapping centre halves in the box you always run the risk of conceding. What we are missing is a bit of pace and final 3rd quality, at times we get caught out because we can't make our mind up in the final 3rd and get left out of position.

To be fair we conceded today simply because Freeman couldn't be arsed.

Nail on head. And I for one am happy we play this way. Some need to get a grip, we’re up there. We concede because of the way we play. Probably right there. The RWBs form will ebb and flow all season. Now looks like the time to get Baldock back in. Then no doubt Freeman will come back in to replace him at some point.
That's how we've got to manage them. Neither are good enough to play the full season.
Hopefully Stevens will be.

When Freeman is in form, he’s far better going forward whether it’s better quality at putting balls in the box in dangerous areas or getting into scoring positions himself (although he seems to have lost this knack recently). But based on today and Derby, he needs a rest and Baldock will be back in on Friday. He couldn't be arsed? So that's points at Deby and now Forest he's cost us. It's more like he isn't fit enough than can't be arsed so drop him for Baldock, I still can't work out why George isn't in favour. He's fitter, a better defender and can tackle.

But we're not half bad.
If Wilder &Knlll did there jobs properly they will have made Freeman aware of the forest players strong points ,Wilder will have told Freeman the error of his ways in no uncertain terms.2nd away game in a row a basic error of judgment has cost us dear.Freeman is an experienced player and should know how to show a winger onto his wrong foot,he left the door open and the forest player went through it.If we fancy keeping a clean sheet against Wednesday I suggest dropping Freeman. Especially as Reach and Joao are likely to occupy his side of the pitch.
It was pathetic from him, again. Any fucking amateur should've been able to show Carvalho down the line onto his weaker foot. He didn't even try to. It strikes me as sheer stupidity as well as laziness.
He can't complain if he misses out on the derby again.
Disagree. It's his lack of fitness rather than his lack of endeavour. To be fair we conceded today simply because Freeman couldn't be arsed.
I hope you’re right, but what makes you say that?Disagree. It's his lack of fitness rather than his lack of endeavour.

But Freeman is significantly better going forward, and actually provides a tangible goal threat due to his understanding with the strikers, Sharp especially. I think Chris missed having him in the team for that reason.
But I do agree that Baldock is better defensively and more solid. I love his passion as well.
Maybe now Wilder will have a re-think based on the goals we conceded v FLDC and Florest?

Freeman has been crap last two away games. When forced to defend he shows he is not very good at it. Awful on the goal today but had been poor all day.
I believe all our players give 100% all the time. If any player looks like he 'can't be arsed', I would therefore put that down to his level of fitness.I hope you’re right, but what makes you say that?
That's nonsense, it doesn't matter how many games we have lost at this point of the season. It's relevant to the rest of the league and at this stage we have accumulated the second most points and won the joint most amount of games (a win is worth more then a deaw). We always seem to concede and 5 losses already isn't for the top 2. Yet we are top 2 currently because we win more than anyone else and rarely draw. We always play to winWe always seem to concede and 5 losses already isn't for the top 2. Play offs and it's been a great season to be fair. On way back gutted!

I’d say first half we were trying to attack and create, but delivery from both freeman and Stevens was poor.Did we play to win yesterday? I didn't go, but my boy said the flat 5 midfield just didn't work.
What makes us different to me is when we play 3412 with "someone" in the hole we play better further up the field. Accepted Duffy is a master player of exploiting space between the lines, but this is what makes us a bit different.
The starting 11 seemed to me all about not losing - our starting 11 v Derby where we absolutely roasted them for 45 minutes was about winning on an away ground (Bristol C too).
is CW now approaching these away games against good teams in a slightly different way now Coutts is available?
