Says Wilder. Absolutely spot on. He and the players have done brilliantly to pick up the results they have in the past 2 seasons because it shows how often we are "at it". Once we drop off slightly we are no better than average and that's why we lose tight games like today.

He didn't sound happy and I think this January will be absolutely huge for him and us. If he doesn't get what he wants and needs I really think it could be the end in all honesty. He knows what we need to be serious challengers and how close we are but if he can't add the missing pieces then he will walk.

I find it hard to laugh at Wednesday at the moment because we could be in a very similar situation next season. The shit in the background is hanging over the club big time now and it's only the efforts of Wilder and the players that has kept it in the background. We are doing so well and are in a superb position to push on but as Wednesday are showing you can be so near then very quickly crumble. I just pray something is sorted.

I said similar things earlier this week and got shouted down with "he's a blade, he isn't bothered about money". He is fiercely ambitious. He's earned decent backing. If he doesn't get it he'll go

McCabe could sort out the mess over night, yes he’d take a bit of a hit but he’s meant to be a Blade, he’s not doing the best for the club at the moment.

At the end of the day, Wilder's served his time grafting in football management and I doubt he has any intention of sticking around if he's continually messed around by our chairmen.

In Danny04 s book Wilder himself tells of how close he was to leaving. He really didn't know at the time whether the Bristol game would be his last. If he's been promised a budget that made him stay and it's not forthcoming then he will walk. I think people are naive to think because he's a United fan he will stick around. He knows that without investment he can't progress any further with United and he won't see his reputation suffer.

I just feel like we have all been so delighted with our start that it's understandably taken everyone's attention away from the boardroom issues. Wilders latest interviews have been quite concerning to me. He doesn't seem satisfied and I get the feeling he thinks he's taken us as far as he can.

Exactly what I said, we have to be at 150% to win games, we don't draw games full stop so anything less than 150% and we'll lose.
It doesn't matter whether we play ok or not, if we don't create chances AND put them away a defeat is on the way because there's no way in hell we'll keep a clean sheet

First of all there is no such thing as 150 %

Secondly we weren't at our best last week and won 4-2

You come across in your posts like someone coming down off a bad trip ,drink a few beers and listen to some whale song

Spot on Roy, I suppose we'll see what January brings.

If I has some cash?

When did he start talking like Worzel Gummidge?

If I has some cash in that thurr windur I'd buy myself a brand new combine arvester so I could do a proper job on my corn, but then I'd definitely av one of those Duffy types through the door, ooh arrr

And this is the issue. One won't invest if the other won't match it. It's the world's shittest game of chicken

One was willing to invest. The other wanted him to effectively write it off if he gained control.

But, while Wilder keeps us up there the clubs future value could increase significantly. You'd think that either way repayable loans from each of them would make sense. If either or both don't believe in Wilder to that extent after what he's already achieved here, then a fuck off tablet is needed.

That was an incredibly honest interview from Chris. And he's was spot on . If we lose him it will be the biggest blow to this club since ... well could be ever!

You'd think that as businessmen, or at least people with good advisors they'd see the opportunity they have to get us up and sell. Depends just how much personal animosity is involved I suppose?

Yes of course, my 150% comment was really meant literally,
Even though 150% does exist you're right it doesn't exist on a football field.
My comment also said CREATE and TAKE chances which we did against Wigan whilst playing at 100%

Our games follow a pattern usually. We convert chances, toss it off for a while, concede, step it up again, score again, toss it off for a while, concede again
The problem arises when we don't take our chances, because the other team will score, that's a definite.

The fans could also sort this out.
We could all take out a loan for £500 to £1000, give it to the club and
When we’re promoted at the end of the season we get it back plus interest, so we don’t lose any money.

Can’t see the problem myself.....right who’s in to help our promotion push?

I’m being sarcastic sorry but should we expect the owners to gamble more of their money putting us in yet more debt. I reckon 6 to 8 million will be the max but that won’t buy much. Would CW be happy with this figure I wonder?

Do you think a team with a lower mid table budget should win every game ?

Woodwardfan suggested something similar. Look what happened to him...........

This could be a pivotal 6 months in our history.

Some investment and a bit of luck equals the premiership.

Some investment and no luck still in the championship but with Wilder as manager

No investment, almost certainly still in the championship but with Wilder gone.

Without the court case scenario one or two would be most likely, with the court case who knows.
