Love it how they all think they were the better team for both halves. We were first to every ball in the first and then managed to regroup with ten to go. Yet still they're all so proud of scoring twice even though they only played for 35 minutes. Personally I couldn't give 2 hoots if we played long ball as they were appaling at the back either way you look at it.

We played a fair bit away what we're capable of, but still scored 3 goals and won the match. And forced more saves from their keeper.

*shrug*

If they're happy with last night, they're in for a very happy season.

If Wendy were the better team for both halves then they would have won. Did they? Our survey says..... No. So they might as well shut the fuck up now, because no amount of whinging can get three points from a defeat.

I would also point out ot our porcine neighbours, we can play a lot better than that, unfortunatly for them that is as good as it gets, losing to the red and white wizards 3-2 I believe it was.

Did anyone have radio sheffield on after the game? Listening to all the piggys gloating etc...how class they were etc.. bullshit, 3-2 the Blades!!! 'your not bouncing anymore'

Out of the 5 goals last night we scored 4 :D

To be honest, anybody who thinks we deserved a point out of the match didn't watch the game.

Yeah i heard some of Radio Sheff after the game, one pig was oiking on about that fact that Blackwell wasn't wearing a suit, i turned it off just after as i couldn't stand it any longer!

I looked on Owlstalk on my phone at 2-0 up and a few of us on the Kop had much hilarity at the line.

"Despite the scoreline, we're beating them"

Quality

Apparently they outsung 27,000 Blades all through the match too??????????

Didnt hear them once,we were that loud in the Kop, I could see them doing some fuckin stupid bouncing at the start but Wardy soon put a stop to that:thumbup:

TBH, we seemed very loud and you seemed quiet.

Maybe we just couldn't hear each other. Even at 3-0 it seemed we were out singing you.

Didn't you know wearing a suit is compulsory and Blackie will get an FA charge for not doing so  :D

It wasn't 3-0 for long was it so that's a porky (*cough*)

We were fairly quiet in the second, mainly because we were very nervous. That said, I thought you were silent in the first and you all seemed to be sat down for the majority of it.

You do look 'special' bouncing around by the way.

It was hard to listen to, and she promptly got cut off thank god..

They really should be some sort of screening before they let people on that show

You my porcine friend are delusional! To think that your bouncy antics outsang the kop, and to be honest the majority of the other stands, is just laughable. Never heard you once, and from the start I could hardly hear the PA system.

There were a couple of Oinkalots got off at Westgate last night who started singing about how "United ran away" and then turned round to see myself and jnr, so I was just thinking "aye-aye - here we go" when they had the decency to shut up, shake hands and say we deserved the win.

Though I will never as long as I live and breathe understand why some of ours live on their boards and vice-versa, at least the couple of theirs on here have been equally grown-up and magnanimous.

We take away the joy of the win and they have the satisfaction of giving it a go for half an hour.

Went to collect my car about an hour ago... turned on the radio to hear Howard "howie" Pressman (I can't stand the tosser) on Radio Sheffield talking about how we were terrified and silent....

Terrified of what? Wednesday snatching a draw?

I really don't understand how some can try and make out they got one over on us by losing 3-2? :)

Fair play to Wednesday, they did what I thought they'd do and throw everything at us, but last time I checked, we still won the game :)

Yawn, yawn, yawn. You back for more soft lad?

I'll grant you that Wednesday played some pretty triangles in the second half which got precisely nowhere, (I do believe your goals were scored from the edge of the box after a defensive mistake and a 25yd dead ball), and your lad Buxton scored a goal to be very very proud of, but overall you got what you deserved. No doubt you will claim to be 'unlucky' not to get a point in the same way we were 'unlucky' when Killa got sent off at yours last year. There is no such thing as failure, just success and excuses. But all of that is conjecture and predictions of a future that didn't happen. We might even say that we could have had another couple easily in the second half had Grant not made a couple of 'lucky' saves, and that 4-2 or 5-2 might have been a better reflection of the effectiveness of the two sides., recalling that you dont get extra points for pretty football.

Regardless of the final score and everything else, I can assure you that we had 20 mins getting intense joy from looking at 3,000 faces all like smacked arses from our third until after half time, and regained that feeling at the end of the game.

Anyway, for all the bollocks, I read in the paper this morning that we won and got the 3 points, and that's the only thing that matters...

Whenever you are in a crowd singing then it will seem louder than the fans at the other end of the pitch. Trust me, it only seemed like you were louder.

They do. In a getting-your-moisture-from-the-condensation-on-the-window kind of "special".

That's not really fair. I did hear them, for about seventeen seconds in total.

And what's the next bad thing Wednesday fans will be gloating about? I bet if they get flooded again it will be "our deep end is deeper than yours" or "our chairman is a bigger twat than yours". Being second best is not something to crow about, but I suppose if you support Wednesday than you have to draw comfort from the slightest thing, even only losing by one goal.

The reaction of Pigs after this game is no surprise to me at all. They may well be delusional, but they see their team in a positive light at all times. So in this case, United won after trashing them first half but they did come back well in the first 25 minutes of the second half before running out of steam and that's all that matters to them now.

well i sit on the westfield and can honestly say that is the most racket the kop has made in quite some time.. well done everyone involved.. i never heard the piglets below until they scored.. and one more thing..
how can the wednesday fans sing the 'hark now here song'.. it doesn't make any sense.. how can they live to fight for ever more because of boxing day if they bl88dy won!.. dddooooohhhh:rolleyes:

We won.....maybe not convincingly, but it makes up for one of the many times it was Blades v Pressman......90 mins of 1 way traffic without a win. The grunting snortbeasts cant remember that far back though.

Snap, could see some "bouncing" but though they were very quiet but thats probably because it was loud on the Kop

Wednesday outsung United. Take your red-tinted specs off. Didn't hear a peep from you in the second half.

Ha ha - yeah right. Couldn't hear you at the match & watched it again & Sky and could only hear you lot squeal for a few minutes after you scored.

How things have changed. Pig fans claiming to be proud because they only lost by one goal to the Blades. Hilarious.

I sit exactly on half way on the John Street and despite Wednesday being louder than normal (well apart from the first half :D), you certainly didn't outsing United.

The isn't red-tinted specs, its what I heard with my own ears.

It may sound on the lower tier like you are singing louder than the rest of the ground, but this just isn't the case.

One thing I also found humourous, was the piss-taking out of the attendance by Wednesday... You boys like to have a laugh don't you? the irony :)

Still, apparently outsung and outplayed us, yet still went home with nothing :D

I couldn't believe the jeering of the attendance by the unclean.

Two words for them. GENERAL SALE.

Sorry mate but your support was very poor all night, even when you had the 20 minute spell in the second half still largely quiet.
When it comes to atmosphere, the Lane is always going to be streets ahead of Hillsborough, especially for a night match - something any neutral will tell you.
Something in the genes of Blades that Wednesday fans don't have. It might be something to do with the turned-up noses Wednesday fans still have, even now, about their status.
It seems to sap the fire from your bellies.

Not lost on you then either?

Piss taking our attendances for years despite Hillsborough games being covered by Sky then you go and get the lowest derby attendance in years

You're awfully uppity today. Sand in your vagina? Or is it just that you lost last night to your bigger and better rivals?

If you need to get some things off your chest before you self harm, the Samaritans are always just a phonecall away.

Stay away from the razor son, we all know what damage Blades can do to you :(
