I’m worried about Wednesday....

I'm worried weather our nets can take the battering they're going to get from our fat lad from the pub league :D

This has to be one of our best chances to batter them into submission. If we play like we have been, we can take them to the sword. I have total faith in wilder and this team will show up on the night and beat them.

3 defeats on the trot, please don’t let them sack Not So Lucky before 9 November!!

Not sure they can afford to sack him, but in any case a magician wouldn't sort that defence out.

If we keep our heads and work the ball as we know we can, we'll have em on toast.

Just surprised the pig fans are not calling for Paul Hurst now he is out of work. Ticks plenty of pig boxes, pig through and through, would come cheap, their copy of Chris Wilder what could go wrong ?

Never ever am I confident before a Derby game as it’s always liable to bite you on the arse !!! Hate the games and 0-0 twice with no chances at all will do me fine. All the stress attached makes me think this is when I am nearest to departing !! Even the beautiful bouncing day had me feeling sick for a minute or two until Mr Duffy popped up !
As ever UTB !!
Ps would be nice to absolutely batter them though

Just hope we can score strait out the blocks, that will make them change approach and stop them parking the bus. A nail biting 0-0 would leave us open to a sucker punch.

It almost did last year , with that fucker near the end , great save by our keeper though
Hate these games as I’ve seen games when we were favorites and lost Boxing Day , seen us play em off the park and lost and seen us go in front for them to come back and draw , also seen em pox a win as well ,

I can see it being a game similar to the Stoke match in the week.

Yep, have said the same thing to mates. We'll have 70% possession, they'll play 4-5-1, contain us for 75 mins and bring on the big lad for the last 15mins and make everything aerial. He'll then either nick an undeserved equaliser or winner.

It is vital, vital, vital, vital, more than vital that we go in 2-0 at half time after scoring in the first 15 mins. Force them to play more expansive football. What we don't want is 0-0 at half time after us dominating things, because they've just successfully turned a 90 min match into a 45 min one, the dynamic has shifted and then they've got a puncher's chance. :)

Deed is done. Season Ticket donated to mate's lad. Seen a lot of Derbies (from the Bill Punton game through Boxing day to that remarkable 0-0 win for them) but this one is so important for all sorts of reasons that my negativity needs to be elsewhere than BDTBL.

I'm very worried, because I'm not worried before a derby. I learnt that's not a good place to be as an 11 year old in 79.

Bouncing day exercised those demons at long last. So now I'm worried as I've nothing to worry about.

Yes its a worrying time when there is nothing to be worried about - like being top of the league instead of bottom ..or even 2nd or having lost 3 in a row and supporting one of the most arrogant deluded vile clubs who play in blue - now that is something to worry about so ....................
Dont worry ....about a ting !

I’m not worried about Wednesday, any little fuckers trick or treating can fuck off is they think they’re getting anything out of me.

Oh, you mean the football team from South Barnsley. Fuck ‘em.

Well, as a snort beast I feel bound to say that United will never have a better chance of avenging Boxing Day than this.

I wonder if there's any chance of heavy snow on the 9th? ;)

United played better on Bouncing Day than Wednesday did on Boxing Day, but for a victory in this fixture to be officially deemed a massacre it has to be by a minimum of four clear goals.

That takes some doing, but with Wednesday's best keeper banished to the stands and a manager who thinks playing football in the defensive third is a good idea, it could be done.

l don't think United have had a better chance than this since Boxing Day, and I've been going to Hillsborough for 40 years, and to the Lane for almost 30.

From what I saw yesterday, it's doable, but it depends if Jos alters the team around in the interim. There's no chance of Westwood coming back, but he might bring Wildsmith in if Dawson repeatedly picks the ball out of the net against the Canaries. I guess it depends if the penny finally drops that he's not in Holland and Wednesday's defenders simply aren't good enough technically to play that way.

I'm confident the Blades will win, but to avenge Boxing Day United will probably need some help from Jos. Mind you, he is proving to be a very helpful manager, judging by recent results. ;)

How funny would that be to see them continue to be dog shite with one of their own at the helm?

Whereas with us Blades its gone unbelievably better than any one of us could've imagined when CW arrived at BDTBL!

If it were to happen the difference in quality between the Tractor Boys and the Pigs (farm connection there pardon the pun?) can't be that much can it? Paul Hurst should fit right in seamlessly :D
