One crouch dive, one soft shot, one Deano mistake away from it being a near masterclass.
I thought to a man we were fantastic tonight. We arent going to roll teams over that cost around 50 million quid. We should have taken our chances early, we should have held on, but we are being spoilt if we think we should moan at a performance like that.

a draw like that often feels like a defeat. people will come around tomorrow. everyone is genuinely disappointed that's all

Masterclass is a bit far. They really aren’t that good.

They’re not in the top 5 I’ve seen against us this season. Huge missed opportunity.

It's frustrating because a blind man could see we are bloody brilliant but so prone to chucking away results.

Absolutely love the way we play and I have complete faith in Wilder and our players, who I think are more than good enough.

What's the solution? I don't know. Clearly not comfortable sitting back and seeing out games, but what's a sensible alternative? I'm sure Chris will sort it soon.

Need to punish the opposition more when we’re on top and be a little more switched on at important times. We’re playing very well but have thrown points away in the last two games from being too slack.

Those two performances should have resulted in 4 points minimum. Dropping points to teams that we’re much better than. Very frustrating.

It’s disppointing.

We played really well, passing and movement slick as anything I’ve seen but I still have the right to feel disappointed at our lack of clinical finishing. We won’t stay where we are if we don’t sort that out.

Oh and bad subs.

20 odd shots at goal tonight. Only scored once. Another day we win this by a cricket score. Not concerned.

Move on to Saturday.
I am concerned that we are a striker away from seeing off the opposition because, due to the fact we fade on 70 mins, it's imperative we take our chances. That said, we were brilliant.

Yes, it's what proper fans feel, frustration and even anger at the continued stupidity of our players, It's just as well an earlier chance didn't go in because we'd have probably lost 2-1 if we had 60 or 70 minutes to defend

Some are so busy clapping, everything is so fine because we are near the top
And in a few weeks everything will be so fine because we're still in the play offs
And then later in the season everything will be fine because we're mid table

There's a difference between disappointed and unnecessary criticism.

Are you not concerned that our top scorer sat and watched each of those twenty chances from the bench?

The man in charge put him there for a reason. We have no reason to mistrust Wilder’s decisions really when we’re playing an ex-prem team off the park.

These things happen in football.

Learn and continue.

I know we need to finish our chances but do you know how much a striker costs that score even 1 goal in 3 chances!?
Ince has cost 10million and I've heard he's still on the pitch now trying to score as we speak.

It's so so frustrating not getting what you deserve but look at the positives. They were the favourites pre-season and we just footballed them to death.

I'm less disappointed than I am usually but probably only because we were only winning for 15 minutes or whatever.

It's the winning for 70 minutes and then dropping points games that get me.

At the moment results are going with us, were matching the teams around us but we need to take the chances to build cushions when they come if we want to progress.

And stop fouling people on the edge of the fucking area.

last season in a nutshell..

I’m frustrated because we don’t appear to learn from our mistakes. How many times this season have we been winning (coasting on some occasions) and then just sat back and allowed the opposition to get back into the game? We are not good enough to protect a 1 goal lead for 20 mins, look at the preston game, we couldn’t defend a 2 goal lead in that time!

There’s just such a clear mentality switch in our team when we take the lead. We look terrified and it costs us time and time again.

The cost of their team is an utter irrelevance, we were at home to 16th in the league tonight, and we should be beating them. It worries me how often we throw these leads away.

The lads played really well tonight. Should be praised.
Stoke were super lucky to come away with a point and they'll know it.
I doubt if they'll have a harder game all season.

Not often a pro will spend as much time chasing shadows as a Stoke pro will have tonight.

It's frustration. If we were shit or even average it would be easier to take in a way but in the last two we have played superbly for nearly two hours yet only got 1 point. If we hadn't done exactly the same on so many occasions last season people would be less concerned but nothing looks like changing on the game management front.

We played well tonight, nobody could deny that, but it’s all about putting the chances away. We should have been 3-0 up when they scored.

But shit happens, Boro have drawn with Roverum, so we move on to Wigan in the knowledge that while we may have only got one point from the last 2 games, we played well for 75% of the 180+ minutes and looked a decent team as good or better than anything in this division. UTB

I don't know I just like to see the Blades see out a game of football against a Stoke side that couldn't fucking defend for most of the match.

I'd understand if we had been under the cosh for most of the game but we can't sit off teams in this division and get away with it.

It's possible to be both happy about our league position and frustrated at our habit of throwing points away in the last 20 minutes of games.

No you’ve got to happy clap all the way home because we aren’t allowed to point out legitimate concerns in the way we defended our lead.

Can you imagine how much higher we could be than Top if we managed to sort out this problem.
