Taking my lucky girlfriend for her first Blades match tonight. She can't wait and she's going to have the time of her life.

Taking her to Devonshire Chippy for her tea unless anyone can suggest somewhere else to go just before heading to BDTBL

If anyone wants to suggest something else we can do to make it extra special, let us know. Im thinking of showing her the statues behind the Laver but otherwise I'm unsure.

Tell her that this is not a statue of Saddam Hussein!

Hooe it goes well Nads.

Take her to Zugma for food. Beautiful sit down kebabs. She'll be well impressed.

Not sure if its open to you but if you can take her up the arts tower after the game.

They have paternoster lifts.

Is ‘take her up the arts tower’ a euphemism?

But only if he buys some new condoms for his wallet.

Im sure the arts tower wouldn't be open at 10pm

Showing her the statues behind the Laver and taking her up the arts tower. Enough for one night. When we next play in London, may I suggest you take her up the Shard. Great views and good food.

Never has a chippy gone so downhill over the years as Dev Chippy.

It's not glamorous, but the one just down the road from Plug is supposedly very good.

Only games our lass has been we won 4-0 vs Port Vale in the promotion season and 3-1 vs Derby last season. Should bring her more often...but then again fook that. :p

Are you sure she's really interesting in a trip to BDTBL mate?
When you asked her if she'd like to come with you for the first time, replying "The chance would be a fine thing" isn't quite the same as her saying "yes" to a game of footy you know :D

We're about to arrive into Sheffield. What's the best chippy then? One that won't be too busy but is on the way from the station.

Mrs Trafford is also attending her first ever game tonight, courtesy of @dannycorker’s work commitments. Nice day in York followed by a drink at Ma Corker’s, helping us to rediscover our Yorkshire roots.

Maybe a donkey punch to warm her up, and a balti pie n pint of piss behind the kop, that way you can both enjoy smoking weed for free too!

Brenda's?? magnifique.. proper old skool chippy ;)

I've not sampled it myself but allegedly they do a very good fish cake butty which, I think, is the mark of a proper Sheffield chip shop. The one at Gleadless town end (again, allegedly) does the best fish cake butty in the city.

I went to Pontus up Totley last Friday night which used to be one of the Abbey Friar places. The fish was fucking phenomenal. Best I've had in a long time.
