Ok tin hat time, but I dontd think Paul Coutts is anywhere near ready to play first team football yet. Looks very slow and lethargic since he's come back (fully understandable), and is no way a Duffy replacement. Think he needs to be brought on when/if there is no pressure in the game as at the minute he seems to slow us down. No criticism of him, but just not ready for me.

He's fucking miles off, if he weren't Paul Coutts he wouldn't be in the squad.

In the passage of play where we ran down the clock v Hull, the ball goes through Coutts 10 times in 1 minute. He certainly doesn't look miles off when you watch that; the sort of game management we were crying out for countless times in the second half of last season.

Today, he was thrown into a mire that was well established with at least 7 or 8 of our players completely off their games. I'm really not sure what anybody could have done in that situation. A thankless task, just as it was for Clarke and Washington.

Needs games, and we need to go through this patch in order for him to get up to speed. I don’t expect to see him anywhere close to his best until the new year.

It’s a conundrum, he certainly looked sloppy when he came on.

But Norwood was out on his feet and may need a rest midweek. Do you play a two thirds fit Coutts or a fully fit Lundstrum?

Had he started he wouldn't have produced half as much sloppy bollocks as Norwood did today.

Also, in my eyes, Clarke shouldn't even make the bench, pathetic.

This the same Norwood that dominated the first half? The half volley 40 yard pass to Basham was incredible but if you sit back and make him defend you are going to take his game away. Tactics.

Nah, tactics don't explain all the unforced errors from him today. He goes too 'Hollywood' sometimes as well.

I thought Norwood gassed out after an hour. Not surprised after all the travelling and training, he was excellent first half.

Nah he played the Hollwood balls brilliantly, he didn't like it 2nd half when we folded and he had Derby players up his arse. Play to his and the teams strengths is the message.

He came on when we'd lost the midfield and his usual give and go didn't work as the other players around him weren't making runs.

i wouldn't take duffy off unless woodburn was on bench and he was knackered
