At last back in action after the international break, with the visit to Derby County. Sorry I meant Frank Lampard's Derby County :) Not an easy game by any standards but respective form is very much different. FLDC will be desperate to avoid slipping into a mini crisis, particularly with the TV cameras increasing the audience...... Bring it on

So ..

Any team news? :)

Plenty of options from the bench ....

But surely we have to start out unchanged?

Coutts likely to get another cameo, this time against his old team?

Considering our current run, this is the sort of game we could 'afford' to drop a couple of points, but fresh after the break Chris would never see it as such. Start quick, get that early goal, and we could be looking at a very comfortable win. That said, football is very unpredictable, so I'm going for a 2-1 Blades win with some nervy moments towards the end.

Safe journey Blades and make some noise whatever will be....

UTB

If Coutts had been fit a little bit earlier in the season I’d have maybe started him for Norwood just simply because he’s played two games over the international break - but may be too soon for Coutts to start. Utb

Tricky to predict a score line as on their day Derby are a good side.

However the great thing about supporting United under Wilder is that we have become very predictable
You can never legislate for a result, sometimes on the day a team can be lucky or unlucky.
So I focus more on consistency of performances instead of individual results. Performances are an indicator of future results.

We know there’s a 95% chance that we’ll put in a very good performance today playing positive passing football going for the win.

Good game of fitba.

Probably a score draw. Would take that.

Hopefully their fans chant 'Frank Lampard's Derby County'. That would humour me, very much so, very much so.

Wouldnt mind another 3 points. Predicting it'll be pretty scrappy. Derby will try to hold shape pretty tightly and will try to keep us away from their end. Think we can do them (and would love to see Lamptard's face after seeing the back of their net get shaken a few times) but dont think this will be an easy game.

Could go either way this one, if we play like we did against Blackburn and Villa we can win if we play like we did against Brum and large parts against Hull we could lose.

Got to be at it from the start, press high and look to pressure the gaffe prone Keogh, an early goal would be good to the get their crowd on their backs.

20181020_130151.jpg just arrived, already been sheparded towards the Tiffany?

Putting all the cap-doffing where it belongs, i.e. in the bin, United are the form team whereas FLDC are not, it really is as simple as that. Easy win. Duffy to bamboozle them and Billy on the scoresheet.

Only nagging doubt is from within, i.e., if CW decides to tinker with the team and bring you know who in.

Derby is a good beer day out.

I'd take a draw before kick[-off. Always a tricky place to go.

I think it will be entertaining. But frank lampard as started well & no doubt how low ebb man utd are it never easy to go to Old Trafford not only win but deservedly. Derby still have a far greater budget than us even with cuts they had got some quality young players

But as someone said above it easily could go either way. We are capable of going for victory & winning very unlucky last year. If we do get 7pts out of next 9 i believe then everyone will start taking much more seriously as championship contenders as we still only 4th favourites

Which is a fucking hole that serves piss!!! Alexander now.

Me too great pub am on the Harvest Pale. Having just got into The Brunswick with subterfuge. ..

Heading into town soon and the only Tiffany I am going in will be some young lads if she has a fetish for bald fat Bladesmen (there must’ve some such bird somewhere!!)

looking forward to this one, should be a decent game, 2-2 for me, Sharp and Freeman

if we want to finish top 2 then this is the sort of game we need to win today. lf we want to finish top 6 then draw.

We're still in the Alex, thought it'd be busier

Good of Blackburn to do the business for us today!

It really isn't as simple as that. At all.

Would be fantastic to win today but it's always tough for us to win at Derby
The results as they stand at the moment would put us 3 points clear, if we can get a win

Nice to see other results have gone our way before a ball is kicked. A draw will still leave us top! Appeh!

Wilder “just got to keep adding to the total (points)” think he’d take a draw and so would I. Would still take us top.
