[Withington Blade]

Can anyone recommend a local pub to watch tonight’s game? It clashes with Huddersfield/ Scousers game on BT. I normally go to The Red Lion in Withington as they multi-screens but one of their boxes is broken so they are only able to screen one game. Cheers.

Ha, the Red Lion was usually my go to. Perhaps the Friendship in Fallowfield if you're willing to be near students? It's been nearly 10 years since I lived there but that was always good for showing multiple matches.

They were usually happy to stick United matches on when I was there. Great boozer. They did a 'salt and pepper platter' which was fucking divine.

20 years for me. There’s been about a dozen pubs gone since it was my regular haunt round there.

I was going to try The Griffin in Heaton Mersey, they have few rooms with TVs so was going to blag them into putting the game on. Might try this Red Lion place now though.. Let me know if you find somewhere..

The guy who owns/manages friendship is a blade i think, or was when i lived in Fallow.

Footage or Pub/zoo is where i normally go, never that many students for championship games so its alright

Tib street Tavern is good if your around NQ but its NQ prices. Same as Brotherhood in city centre

2nd City in ancoats is good aswell
