Do we have any fans who do this about Wednesday related things? I don't mean laughing at their bull but actually making things up to say about them?
We've had a constant stream this year; the manager; our record transfer fee; players leaving; fake assaults on innocents.
It's past a joke.
Wilder could retire off the villa job because he wouldn’t fail there, that’s my only worry because I’d be tempted if I was him.
Bloody hell it will be a full blown meltdown on porktalk then.....rattles and dummies will be getting chucked out of prams...Dean Smith and John Terry, another blow for the pigs![]()

That's bang on FF. But she'll stink as well.
It's a relief that Villa have gone for Smith, but it's also fair to say that United have to realise that CW is only another season & decent league placing away from where Smith is now. I think you'll see a Villa surge now, playing a lot more positive attacking football, and I think you'll definitely see a Brentford stutter, if not a fall away. It might be the end of them as a force.
Interesting as many believed it was a wages issue, never got to that stage. I’d have him on loan in Jan if we are unable to secure a couple of permanents.Interesting article in Birmingham Live where Scott Hogan is criticising Steve Bruce and saying he stopped him Joining Sheffield United in the summer by saying he was part of his plans.

As has already been mentioned, Smith is a small part of the Brentford operation. I see Brentford going for a progressive manager off the continent and continuing to develop. I admire their strategy.
Smith and Terry is as likely to end in failure as success, partly because of the assistant.
Those two as 1 & 2 must be one of the strangest appointments ever.

I actually know someone who's asked Skybet to price up Terry nailing Smith's Mrs during his tenure... He's awaiting a response![]()
It'd be bad enough for a new manager inheriting him as a player, but to be burdened with him as your No. 2 is mind boggling. DS will have enough on his plate dealing with the 'strong characters' in the dressing room, without having to worry about JT's 'strong character'. You'd want him stood in front of your at all times where you can see him and you'd want a couple of the backroom staff to jump him, wrap him in a wet towel and insert some kind of tracking device into him with a big pointy stick (like what they stick on sharks or turtles), so you can track him in real time and send alerts to your phone when he was near a teammates/your house. Casanova. Lothario. Letch.
It's like the Moyes scenario at Man Utd, but with different 'strong characters' in the dressing room.
I think it's interesting how FLDC didn't show much interest in him.

Oooh I love Kate Bush. They are for making kapushka
If Villa had any sense they would be looking at Wilder. I suspect however they will be drawn into appointing a glamour manager.
If our board have any sense, if an approach does come, then the answer will end in off.
What about the fact that, in practical terms, they can’t stop him? He’s not on a players’ contract. They can refuse an approach but he can still resign if he wants and all they can do is scream ‘tapping up’ and threaten the other club until they agree compensation. And what about the inevitable "release clause" that we no doubt agreed to insert in his recent contract?
