I believe his name is Hendo Deanerson.

Only way he will get to the promised land of Manure is to change his name.

He was the difference between a win and a loss today, had that header gone in, I think Hull would have seen that one out.

That said I agree the Centre Halves played well, although he bailed someout out (Basham?) when Dicko turned him, at the start of the second half.

Edit: Just seen it on the highlight, it was O'Connell.

Egan was M.OM for me too. I thought the header lacked power and would have been disappointed if he hadn't saved it. Comparing him to Kelly is stupid

Whatever his name is he's the best keeper we've had since Kelly. He will earn us many points this season.

Had a great start to his time here some crucial saves that have won us points already .. Norwich , Brum & Hull straight off the top of my head & a character to , think he got the MOTM today for his celebration of the goal .
As Spongebob says I agree Egan was very good today , marshalled the back line well , he’s now carrying the ball better from the back to passing it a lot better , he’s come on leaps & bounds in a short space of time

They way Man Poo are playing this season, he'd be better off signing for us, we'll be above them in 12mnths!!

MOTM debate aside...Hendo is a fantastic keeper. Here's hoping man utd employ a big name european coach who has no time for a young English goalkeeper. IF we were to get promoted he has to be the first signing we make. If by some miracle we could get him permanently he will be the new Alan Kelly...number 1 for many many years.

and it was another Man U GK, Peter Schmichel that contributed bucket loads of 1 nil wins for them when they won the Prem.

The save today wasn't top drawer - but it was certainly instant and superb reactions - same as the near post stop from Dicko.

History repeating itself?

General knowledge test: Alan Kelly's brother, Gary Kelly who is also a keeper, played for us in one game during the triple assault season. Which game was it?

I stumbled across his wikipedia page and i do recollect us having him, but dont remember much about it.

Warnock had form for this though. I remember us signing Jagielka's brother too at one point.

Did he sign the Chief’s brother as well?

I get a notification to say that you've quoted me. Excitedly, i rush to the page to discover the answer to my question. Imagine my disappointment.

Watford away. From memory he signed on loan late on during the season as we had no second string keeper, and played in the last game at Watford as Warnock rested Kenny due to fear of him getting injured

Ahh that sounds familiar now. Cheers :)

Steve Jagielka.

I'm also pretty sure he signed a 3rd Quinn brother (Keith?) although he never got a game

Steve wound up somewhere like Shrewsbury.

Keith was in our Academy, unfortunately didn't make it. Not sure where he is now, I'm sure a website will help out.

Four of the Quinn brothers were in our books. We know about Alan and Steve. Gerry (who played in the same Academy team as Tonge) and Keith never made it to the 1st team.
Didn’t know about Gerry. I’m guessing he was small and ginger.

Yep, everyone at the time was saying he was the most gifted of the brothers Quinn, however I think they were lying.

Like Blackman he sometimes keeps me on the edge of my seat, I don't fully trust his decision making at times.
But he has played well and glad we have him on board this season, but not buying into the over the top lovin' that some blades have for him.

Best we’ve had in a decade. If you’re 21 now you’ll have some vague memories of Paddy and then a series of inconsistent fumblers before Blackman (now injured) who was good but went down in stages. After that lot it not surprising some think he’s De Gea.
