Hull fans are currently experiencing a ride on the “Tigercoaster”. They know to expect dizzying heights and steep plunges. Nothing can be predicted in the jungle that is the Championship, and us Blades would do well to pay Adkins’ Tigers plenty of respect.

There’s nothing more dangerous than a wounded tiger. It can strike at any time. And on Saturday, such a tiger will be visiting Bramall Lane. Remember, the wounded tiger may whimper and roll over - but it may also go “Rar Rah Rah”.

Well said Grasshopper

Maybe I’m the only one thinking we might rack up a cricket score then.

We had some clear weaknesses in the team and so far pretty much all have been addressed.

We needed a keeper and we’ve picked up an amazing one.

We needed a better left wing back and since the threat of Johnson’s arrival, Stevens has become Stevens v2.0!

Where we lacked depth in defence, we have a back up centre half most are very comfortable with and he’s being kept out by the performance levels of the first choice 3.

We’re edging towards having 4 first pick midfielders for 3 slots.

We’ve also totally circumvented Leon’s inauspicious start to the season by picking up the perfect creative partner for Sharp who dovetails brilliantly with midfield and is also proving to be a regular match winner in his own right.

I can't quite make my mind up whether that is a superbly ironic post ('dizzying heights'), or actually serious. The 'Rar rah rah' thing makes me incline towards the former.

I see your banana skin, and I raise you a there are no easy games in this division.

That is why you take each game at a time.

You don't get over the moon at 3 points, you simply move on to the next game. You don't look at the table until Christmas (lying bastards) and from then, the table doesn't tell lies.

As the great Clough Senior said, 'it's a simple game, football'.

Well.... after all the years he's had in the game, it's certainly about time he proved to be a match-winner!!!!!!!
"Floats like a butterfly; stings like a bee - he IS the greatest........... bench him at your peril"

Please don't lose to these idiots, there's a Hull fan at work and he talks bollocks pretty much constantly. He was even saying how shit Clarke was AFTER he banged 4 goals past them last year.

The comment is about McGoldrick, not Sharp!

It goes without saying Billy is a match winner. When he’s not being short, fat and ineffective that is :D

Apart from everything else that goes with being a manager, these are the games that set good managers apart from the rest. If any of the players think after 2 wins away from home, gives them a free pass against Dull, CW and AK, will have their fingers on the pulse of anyone they think is not, “on it”.

Arent Tigers endangered because man and his mighty sword has cut em to ribbons

This isn’t a game for sitting back it’s a game to go at them like we did against Villa. Treat them with respect but go at them.

Pour yourself a big glass Champagne as this is a truly superb assessment of our current squad, always room for improvement but the balance and options we have at the moment is refreshing and if we can maintain this form at the back end of the season I see no reason why we can't mount a serious challenge.

Ih Hull fans expected 'dizzying heights' with Adkins in charge, they're fucking deluded. What can be predicted is that Badkins will spunk away their parachute payments and The Tigers will return to their natural habitat. Division One.

Oh sure, Dull have the likes of Bowen, Irvine and Campbell but what I'm worried about is Adkins' mystery player. The one who nobody ever sees the work he does.

Fuck 'em. 5-0 and rack up 200 league goals under CW.

But who's Hull's best midfielder in the division?
We've had Grealish, Pack and Dack so far.

If Brucie can lose his job with his team sat two points off the play offs, why's the goose-whisperer still employed with his team in 21st, you might ask. Is it

a) because someone's due a mauling given the way they're playing? or
b) they can't aford to sack him?
