BladesPod: Recap of the Preston win, and revisiting Deadbat's predictions

Morning all,

Very pleased to have Deadbat joining me again this week to talk about a surprisingly entertaining game with Preston North End, where we try and work out what on earth happened, and go through our player ratings and analysis (19:40).

Then, we revisit Deadbat's preseason predictions for United and the Championship (52:10), to see how they're tracking and if he's willing to change his mind on any of them... (eg, does he still think United will finish below Wednesday?)

The first time I played it through Sound Cloud, some music from 'Johnny Hunter' broke in at about 60 minutes so I'm not sure quite what happened there.

A decent review and the look back at Deadbat's initial punts was very interesting.

If I'm being very critical, I'd say some of the player ratings ran on a bit and ideally I'd try to keep the whole thing just under an hour.

It would be a great idea to have him back around the New year and review how the division is likley to finish.

That's... unusual. I haven't had chance to listen to the whole thing back yet due to work (I've skimmed through it in production) so I didn't notice that - hopefully it was just something at your end If not I'm sure I'll pick it up when I listen again and try and work out what's gone on there...

That's not Blades Pod's fault - I just ramble on - just like my reports! Sorry....still some have said they like it to be longer so you cannot always win.

Sure I may pop on again in the future but the normal proper duo are back next week!

I dont have a voice for radio or a face for tv..I just mainlywill keep hiding behind a computer screen with the written text!....but I hope someone gets a bit of something out of the stuff I do!
