For any new members, we try and get a game of football on every week - as long as we can get a minimum of 8 people confirming for definite by early Saturday evening, the game goes ahead.

It's a friendly kick around for a couple of hours open to anyone who wants to turn up, regardless of skill, age or fitness... do feel free to bring a mate. The main aim is to have a laugh.

Venue: Goals, 95 Norfolk Park Road, S2 2RU

Time: 10:00 Sunday

Cost: The cost of the pitch (at the moment £39.00) is shared equally between players - between £2 - £3 each depending on how many turn up - UPDATE: Will be cheaper if poss, as we've occasionally managed to bag the pitch at £20.00

What you need: Trainers, moulded or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional.

Please yey or nay in the poll above... you can change your vote if your availability changes

In Majorca unfortunately.......well not unfortunate that i'll be on hols, just that i can't make the footy :)

I'm golfing this week so no. Longer term I still have right leg pains, not to mention the wobbly knee. Is there somewhere I can get treatment for the muscular pain in my thigh (and most of my right leg)? or do I just have to wait until it heals itself?

Have you asked your GP?

Keen to play after missing last month, but the train strike on Sat is a problem so I'm a maybe for now.

Sadly I shan't be in attendance.

Never been before to Goals. Is there a meeting point or do I just try and find you all?

Just mill about outside the main door... You'll see a group who don't look like they are ready to play football :)

I'll fit in then...…………….

Loads of parking mate. I always park mine in the goalposts at whichever end Foxy is "attacking"

Ne'er a scratch. 5 years.

Got to give mine back soon so if I park it at the end I'm shooting at it will be perfectly safe.........

Is there any parking or would I be better just getting the Tram?
Hi mate. Parking onsite IS a problem if basketball is on. If you find car park is full, come back out of car park and go back to Granville rd, turn left and down to bottom of G RD and go past Farm rd club. At the end turn up towards Norfolk park then take first left, drive along approx 400 yds and park there. :)

Cheers Blacky, might just do that anyway mate.

I'd like to play but got a recurrent soft tissue injury on the top of my foot. I keep playing and it doesn't get any better but tempted to risk it tomorrow.

I'm not a doctor, but if I was I'd tell you that if there's something worth risking worsening an injury for its S24SU forum football at 10am on a Sunday morning at Goals.
