Angus Gunn went to Southampton for £13.5m this summer and he’s currently sitting on the bench,

Still very early days for him here, I do like his enthusiasm, the kid loves to play football and its great to see.

I’m sure Deono would love to be here permanent , but he’d also love to be man uniteds 1st choice goalie which he should bloody strive for as there the bigger team in the world.

If we get promoted there might be a slim chance, but honestly, I think he’s just too good and Man Utd will want him back. The problem for them is that Henderson might not want to sit on the bench and wait for his chance, whilst there is the opportunity to play premier league football elsewhere. I think whatever happens he will go to a Premier League club (permanently or on loan) at the end of the season. We just have to try to be one of those to have a chance of keeping him!

I was never very sold on Blackman (controversial I know), so I wasn’t disappointed when we didn’t sign him. As shown by Wilder’s team selections last year, he was competing with Moore (I.e. not much to choose between them - albeit I do think he was better than Moore), but this season Henderson is in a whole different league. Moore’s not got a chance whilstever Henderson is fit.

In dreamland, if we get promoted, and we fork out some serious money, we might have a chance of getting him.

Finally, on a different note “Smog and red bricks” (and drizzle) perfectly sums up manchester for me! I spent 7 years living there and never enjoyed it. However, I don’t think it will be enough to entice He Derain to stay permanently. We’ll need to throw in a pack of quavers and a twirl.

Real Madrid just signed Courtois so that option is off the table for a number of years. There's also no rumblings that Barcelona want to get a new number one either. I don't know where we Gea would go that would create the opening at Old Trafford.

Hopefully we can advance and bring him along that same journey.

To echo a few others, Man Utd would have to lose the plot to let him leave, however the obsession with foreign imports could just make this a possibility...

Man Utd have never owned the 'plot' to lose.

Credit due with the regard to getting Cantona for a snip but they could have probably got Harry Maguire for a couple of million after the Youth Cup final in 2010.

Now Mourinho (if he's still there) will have to fork out about £80 million in January if he's to hang on to his job.

Ferguson was at both legs and should have seen the potential that we could all see.
