No, were you when you wrote the article? Are these not you most excellent reporting skills? "
Scot Coutts has returned to full-time training after sustaining the injury last November, after a poor challenge from Burton Albion’s Marvin Sordell."

Pisspoor, as so often, from our local 4th estate,Geritforud, but I think you may be missing Danny04 ‘s point? Might have been a bit clearer what they meant with a bit of punctuation:-

“Scot, Coutts, has returned to ...”.

Or “The Scot returned to ...”. Poor sub-edit does rather invite the confusion.

The Star used to be an excellent paper. About 60 years ago.

Jock Coutts would have been just as confusing... :)

Date, should have read timeframe or something similar, in the context of the Coutts article.

I actually think Danny is alright, despite his attempts to cover for his employer. I’d personally be looking for another job, as I think he can do better than the OTT hyperbole that the editor of the Star seems to have set as the standard.

I was hoping he was reforming The Star from within but if he is then progress is going rather slow.

Dan Windham.

He lifted a story about youths threatening a woman in her back garden and she complained, quite rightly, that taking it out of a closed group and posting it on The Star left her open to reprisals.
I'm on another FB group called Ingoldmells and Chapel Fans for people that own caravans or holiday in the area.
Recently a Woman was attacked and killed outside a bar in Ingoldmells and it was being heavily commented on on the page. Later, several posters said they had been private messaged by reporters from various different publications/media for comments on the atrocity.
Some of the posters who were messaged were close friends/family of the victim who had been using the page to appeal for calm and clarity of thought.
Journalists eh?

Happens all over now mate.

Social media makes getting information and stories easier to come by.

I'm wary of engaging anyone who starts 'digging' or asking questions that most normally wouldn't.

it could be the wage as in wage war
fans are wageing rumours

probably anti grammarfication by a hyphen hater, or comma commando
