I’m looking for a SUFC home programme from the 1989/90 season when Chris Wilder wore the No.2 shirt. If anyone has one, even if you’re not willing to part with it, I’d be very grateful of the details. Cheers!

Wolves at home
He wore the number 6 shirt at home to Middlesbrough and the number 5 shirt against Ipswich away, Bournemouth at home, Blackburn away and of course the big one, Leicester away. 8 league games in all.

He hardly played in the first team in 89/90. Had 2 or 3 games in the no.2 shirt around the Wolves home. Then came in when Stan. was injured for the last few games he wore no.5. Just seen answered above.

The other thing I remember about that day is that Scotland beat England at Murrayfield when both were going for the Grand Slam. They still bang on about it to this day.

Sorry did not mean players/shirts but programmes. Sorry if that was not clear. Meant got 3 programmes from Leicester and 2 from Darlo...not the numbers of the shirts. I would not be selling them if I owned!

He took another penalty later that season but his effort was saved by Tony Lange of Aldershot.

A win at Blackburn in the penultimate match of the season would have clinched us promotion and Billy Whitehurst very nearly scored the winner near the end of the match (1 hour 16 mins 57 secs in the below video) and Wilder was involved in the build up. Juggled the ball outside the box before hitting an overhead pass for Deano to beat the grounded keeper and crossing the ball for Billy

The same Fulham programme has the centre spread featuring a slim and youthful Chris Wilder.

I've 9 programmes from that season, he's Number 2 on the back of all these.
Programmes from the following games - Man City, Spurs, Sunderland, QPR, Luton, Derby, Southampton, Forest, Norwich.
