I decided against paying €130 Euros for the season pass as last season it wasn't worth it. Thinking that a match pass would be ok. No match pass today.

I know its blacked out today so all i wanted was the commentary but i can't even get that unless i pay €130

Commentary is always available in a certain chat room. As has been mentioned there were plenty of streams today, no need to pay. I'm going to be paying for individual games on iFollow this season but only if no other option is available

It did not even say not in your location in Germany but I have seen they showed it on DAZN W#####S thats one game out of 3 they have shown. Hull maybe mid week match so it could be 1 from 4.

I’m in on holiday in Italy, but normally live in Australia. Bought my season pass in Aus. Took me until the second half to realise it was on TV.

The dozey iFollow support were no use either - initially telling me it was because my location appeared as though I was in the UK and going through lots of settings on my phone, then saying it’s because I’ve paid in Australian Dollars but now I’m in Italy. They never even realised it was a blacked out game. I think they honestly just make it up as they go along.

Eventually I got a message from my father in law saying he was watching the game back in Aus and asked was I watching, and finally the penny dropped!

They could make it clearer it’s a blacked out game on TV and not just a generic ‘rights issue’ message.

Still some work needed, but when I did watch the game on Tuesday it was a definite improvement over last year. Multiple camera angles, replays, clock and scoreboard and commentary all improve the experience IMO (although I know some disagree about the commentary!)

Yep. Was blacked out world wide today. Fuck knows why. I spoke to their support and they said it was a last minute decision, luckily have bein sports on the IPTV box.

Better not be a regular thing this season.

That happened to me a few years ago, PremiumTV or something, I was furious. No warning, one year's subscription, Barclaycard backed the company, so I cancelled the card. It shouldn't be legal.

I remember getting done by an auto renewal about 10 years ago from Blades TV or whatever it was called. Wouldn't mind but there was naff all on it back then and it cost me £70 or something. Lot of money when you're not expecting it.

Yes, it was the same people doing the Blades, but I actually had it for the cricket. I then boycotted them and didn't get any Blades TV. That showed em.

Yep. And ESPN+ used to be part of my Comcast package last season but this year I have to pay an extra $6 per month.

Same happened to me to emailed them and got a refund, as did a few of us out here. Luckily for me I get to see all ifollow games on my pre existing IPTV sub from this season. That being said I will support it in future when it is more stable (quite a few problems last season) and they offer an easier way of watching on TV. Last season the app was garbage for everyone out here, not just for Blades. Chrome was the only way for us to watch.

Out of the three games this season for SUFC, 2 have been blacked out so far which is extremely disappointing, I feel like subscribing to iFollow is entirely a gamble. Can you advise exactly how many games get blacked out per season in the UAE and exactly how many iFollow should be showing to make the purchase of a season subscription not a complete and utter rip off and waste of money?

The stupid thing is, The QPR game was not even shown as a blacked out game on the EFL site, but was still blacked out.... Just utterly useless.

Its really simple. get an ifollow subscription from a country that has no efl tv agreement.For example- UAE have bein sports, there are quite a few countries that have no agreement in place, therefore every single game is on ifollow in that country.

£40 to listen to a feed of Radio Sheffield, including have to endure the ‘let’s go round the grounds’ shite. No I don’t care what chesterfield (in Derbyshire) or the pigs or anyone else is doing. I signed up for Sheff United commentary.

Oh, in that case it seems like they really have no idea what they doing. I will stick with my sky box for midweek games and dodgy streams for the weekends. Really not worth paying for ifollow.
