No, we haven’t. We’ve got several players who are good enough for the championship but not good championship players, like Lundstram (and Evans before we shipped him out).

We’ve only got Fleck and Coutts in CM who are consistently good. That said, Norwood may be being brought in for the Duffy role, as I think he’s quite attack minded. Or possibly a bit of both until Coutts is fit.

Either way, he gives us more strength in depth, which we need.

Norwood looks a better calibre of player to Evans.

This would therefore appear to be an improvement, and endorses the decision to act quickly and let Evans go.

My Brighton supporting mate rates him highly and reckons he'll do a good job for us. Not great defensively but a good passer who likes to get forward and isn't afraid to shoot. Definitely an upgrade on Evans.

Norwood = massive upgrade on Evans. Like one poster said, Norwood is one of those better end championship players that just hasn’t quite clicked in the premier league.

Think he's more box to box player...can vaguely remember he played in that 4-5 game v Fulham alongside Kev McDonald.
Can see him on the right of a midfield 3 when Coutts gets back and Fleck to the left.

Good price for someone with his experience. Take the Evans money out of that and it's a great bit of business.
