Great to hear, he’s come in with a big reputation.

But those curtains need sorting out. He looks like he needs to be in a 90’s boy band
it's 'retro' mate. please keep up :)
on the other hand he could ask Brooksy for his hair stylist' number :D
i love how he has totally bought into us as a club. was celebrating like he'd been here three years at the end

Thought he was just behind Basham for MOTM. Some of his saves (thinking the stretch first half) perhaps looked like a better save than it was. But in terms of agility he looks more capable of getting the low stuff than Blackman, while being equally good at claiming stuff. They are perhaps even with short passing and backpass control, but his long kicking is quite awful. Hopefully that will just encourage him to play it short, which is preferable anyway. I like him. Confident and showed great passion at the end too.
perhaps they don't get taught how to kick it long at Man Utd and Chelsea? ;)

A very solid performance but if he’d let any of the shots in that he saved I would have been incredibly surprised. The goal he had no chance with. Commanded his area well and wasn’t intimidated by Smith coming on.

Really refreshing to see a keeper catching crosses and commanding his area
Great signing.
Egan and Stearman were solid yesterday.

3 pts is fantastic no doubts I still have my worries about that defence it was better today, not that after boro it could have been anyway worse. stearman was a good addition, was very good last season. but the fact that our goalkeeper was our man of the match. reinforces my worry that it seems like we are dodgy at back with the organsiation look like we could make a mistake at any time. just look at how eze & freeman pace caused panic, as all 4 defenders seem to go to ball

He did well, but at least one was a bit of a 'Hollywood' save for the cameras.
The one in the 2nd half reminded me of Grobbelaar. When comparing Bruce Grobbelaar and Pat Jennings I always said "Pat makes difficult saves look easy and Bruce makes easy saves look difficult"

I thought he was pretty good against Swansea. The save he made at the lane end, to keep us in the game at the time, was top drawer.

I thought then, that he reminded me of Alan Kelly.

Couldn't see the Middlesbrough match, where we capitulated, but early signs are good considering his performance yesterday.

He is different class to what we had last season got us the three points yesterday

Wish he were ours, suppose we have to settle for the next best thing :)

The more i see our pen, the more i think it was a very good decision by the ref for the "push" from behind on McG.

I had a good view from the lower tier, happened right in front of me. One of those where the defender just eases McGoldrick in front of the ball whilst in the air. Had he not just given that little nudge he would have headed it, looks soft because there isn't much in it, but it was penalty.

Funny how everyone thought that Blackman was a good keeper. He wasn’t, he couldn’t kick. People forgot what a good keeper is its been that long since we had one. Now this lad Henderson really is a good keeper. Was singing his praises when he signed, glad hes proving me right. Unfortunately he will probably leave at the end of the season too. Id really like to see us sign a permanent, young keeper, he is exactly who we should buy !

Long way to go but there's a very good chance we'll be able to get him on loan next season too.

Is he beyond our budget? He's still about 5th choice at Man United, and they've just sold another one of their keepers (Sam Johnstone), so maybe see the path to the first-team as a little too distant for these guys.

To be honest, he might even already be Man Utd's second best keeper behind De Gayer. They just use the older guys like Lee Grant and Sergio Romero to happily sit around as backup. Henderson wouldn't be happy to do that so I see him being in the same situation next season. Then if no PL club want him as first choice, we'd be first in line.

Our best chance of getting him permanently would be by agreeing to give Man Utd a buy back clause, as we have with Bryan and Man City.

Henderson is very ambitious and he’s convinced and confident he’ll become a regular in the Premier League.
His target to become Man United’s number 1, which will be really difficult.

So it’s going to be difficult to keep someone who probably sees himself ultimately above our level.
Agree with Ricky.
Our hopes might rely on us offering Man United some buy back clause, chanting his name (Deano..) making him feel wanted and our club buying decent players demonstrating a genuine ambition and realistic chance of promotion back to the PL.
