Really impressive .Wasn't worried about him to be honest despite the stick he got at Boro and the fact he's "too small"

I said the same on shoutbox during the 2nd half: kept us in it with a great performance!

Very impressive. Looks reliable and talented. Must have been especially interesting on those strange first half QPR corners where they all crowded round him.

Great save in the last ten minutes to his left, looked to be heading into the bottom corner all the way.

Thought he was great today.

He won't look as comfortable with balls coming into the box as Blackman was purely down to his size but already looks a far better shot stopper, again probably down his smaller size and being more mobile.

The goal from last season that springs to mind would have been saved by a smaller stopper was the grunters first at The Sty.

Thought he was just behind Basham for MOTM. Some of his saves (thinking the stretch first half) perhaps looked like a better save than it was. But in terms of agility he looks more capable of getting the low stuff than Blackman, while being equally good at claiming stuff. They are perhaps even with short passing and backpass control, but his long kicking is quite awful. Hopefully that will just encourage him to play it short, which is preferable anyway. I like him. Confident and showed great passion at the end too.

Great saves. Great handling. MOTM for me, with the excellent Basham second.

The return of Stears and his leadership qualities meant the defence was much more organised and effective [though still room for improvement]. Egan was much improved today and it was no coincidence.

Well done to Freeman for the typical assist and Sharp for being on the spot to finish.

Penalty very dubious but put away well by the cool Mr. McG.

Looked a great shot stopper in first 2 games, was a bit worried about his command of area but he did well with that today aswell. For me it was a pen, their lad budged McGoldrick from behind which completely impeded his jump. Foul. Stearman made himself hard to drop as the defence with him in the middle was much more organised, something I criticised Stearman for not being as effective at doing as Jake Wright but I think on evidence of today he showed what we were missing with him out the side.

Up with Bash as our top performers today I thought, very athletic & made a few good stops as well as some you would expect him to save. His handling from crosses looked better today as well so all good points, just need to sort his long kicking & his bloody hair now!

I thought it was dubious to soft in real time, but I'm led to believe it depends on the replay angle.

Will take it all day long though.

As we used to say in the old days in response to "that were never a goal", have a look in the Green 'Un...

Top top performance today, my best mate is Shrewsbury fan and said he is the best keeper they’d ever had and most importantly will fully interact with the fans, after seeing his performance and his reaction after the game today I fully get it!

I do like the look of this lad .

In addition to his technical abilities which all good goalkeepers must have , I get the impression he also has that extra ingredient which sets the really good ones apart , that of a fierce determination to ensure that the ball's not going into the back of his net if he can possibly do anything about it .

That was the kind of attitude that made the likes of Hodgy , Kelly , Mel Rees etc. the great goalkeepers they were .

For all his good points (but including some weaknesses) Blackman never had that for me , which is one reason why I see Henderson as an improvement and someone who will make a very important contribution to our season.
